Has any one worked on an iLvL gear list for 10's yet.

If all the talk is correct, come the new expansion, xpoff BGs will be based on iLvL gear. From what I have read in other forums, it's base lvl is 34 when you enter and scales .01% stats for every iLvL above that. No enchants will work or trinket items. I also read that xpoff toons will enter the same BGs as exON. That eliminates any old use of macroing in to exON to get games.

Does this also mean that we scale to 19? Are there any benefits any more to 10's in BG?

If I'm wrong or confused, all corrections are welcome.

The base iLvL will be 24 (same as BoAs at in 10-19). You will scale to 19 and have the same stats as everybody else, just less abilities.

My official opinion is scaling BLOWS and I consider it a direct attack on us Tens... grrr... Bliz.... GRRRR .
We need our own 10 bracket. One meant to be for the BG available when every one dings 10 =).

While I normally agree that Blizz hates Twinks of all Levels you post is incorrect, let me show you why.
  • Level 10 is the FIRST Level that Blizz's API shows in Armory.
  • Since 10 is the first Level to show in the Armory, it's the first Level you can show off to others without screenshots.
  • If you are hacked and the hacker deletes any Characters 1-9, they're gone forever because Blizz will NOT restore them thus making Level 10 the first Character Level that you can get shit back after being hacked.
  • 1-9's cannot be Character transferred between Realms.
  • 10 used to be the first Level you got to pick a Talent before the current Talent system.
  • 10 also used to be the first Level Hunters got to learn to tame a Pet.
  • Level 10 has the highest Stat scaling of ANY LEVEL IN THE GAME, not even Level 1's scale as well, especially noticeable after the Stat squish and Enchant Scaling.
  • The first time you can currently choose a a Talent Role (Spec) is Level 10.
  • 1-9's cannot que Battlegrounds.
  • 10's USED to be quite a bit more powerful than 19's, you're young and haven't played WoW long enough to know that so I'll forgive you that offense.
  • There were EPIC Quest Chains in WoW before The Shattering in Cata, many of which 10's could do through completion and some of those gave amazing Gear.
There's probably more that's slipping my mind atm but you get the point. Blizzard by no means hates 10's, they hate Twinks in general, especially sub Level 35 twinks historically (again you're too WoW young to understand that comment). We also don't need a separate BG Bracket, come Legion we will finally once again be allowed to do Instanced PvP since we won't have the current 19 Twink community constantly kicking us the moment they realize there's a 10 in the group. And with Legion's PvP changes the ONLY difference between 10 and 19 in BG's will be ONE Talent and ONE Ability, that's it.

As an average, those of us 10's with full GF'd gear should hit between iLvL 37-43 or so, Class dependant. The reason for saying Class dependent is because Hunters require their Ranged Weapon to do ANY damage other than our Pet's damage while Classes that wear 1H/OH can use gimmicky items in their OH that vastly increase iLvL. Those stating they have 68+ at 10 are likely in for a big surprise once Legion hits and Bottled Tornado is removed from their Inventory or is turned into a vendor junk item. Also there are some with Satchel Gear (not explaining this) which will give them a higher iLvL at an extreme risk of being reported and Blizz coming down on them.

Bottom line, Level 10 Twinks will have roughly 1-3% advantage of standard Levelers in BG's come Legion, nothing spectacular.

I may be wrong but this was kind of my point, that being scaled up to 19 would lose us the OP stats bonuses and all that make 10's what they are now, basically making us just another 19 right?

There are no Stats, Enchants (more Stats), Gems, Set Bonuses, Trinket Procs and probably Weapon Procs come Legion in BG's, none. To put it in it's simplest form, yes, 10's will be just another 19 come Legion in BG's.

Bear in mind the average Level 19 Player (non-Twink) doing BG's while Leveling in Legion will have iLvL 20 if they're lucky, ~24 if they have decent Gear and maybe 28 or so with good gear so 10's with 38-43 will have a Stat superiority of 1-2% over them. 19 Twinks on the other hand can reach a little higher than 10's in iLvL, about 45 or so, giving them about 0.3% superior Stats over fully GF'd 10 Twinks and about 1% higher than post Shattering 10 Twinks.

Due to the very narrow margin between 10 & 19 Twinks' iLvLs come Legion, be prepared to see a massive resurgence of Consumables to boost a toon much higher. That is unless Blizz turns off Consumables in BG's too. Because lets face it, there's no way the 19 Twinking community is going to stand for 10's being on basically a level playing field with them and will do everything they can to maintain their sense of superiority in PvP ;)

I hear ya. I notice you refer to GF items. I don't think GF has any bearing on being better iLvL unles the item just happens to have a high iLvL. Most items that were considered GF with great stats for the lvl didn't have much iLvL to them I'm guessing. Things are looking more like common trash with rare flukes of high iLvL being more common for instance the "Stratholm Lilly with 70 iLvL off hand flower".

GF'd Gear in almost ever instance is higher iLvL than what can be acquired today, post Shattering. Just one example is the Belt on most of my 10's Beastmaster's Girdle iLvL 28 versus today's Wendigo Collar iLvL 15.

Their referring to the old Macroing into exp ON games with exp OFF so you can farm HK. You wouldn't ever get into an exp OFF game with 19's back then. Not sure about now but getting into an exp ON game??? Your a GOD in those. At least my hunter was back in the day. I would cap 2 , hold the 3rd while single handily wiping the GY.

Don't worry, soon 10's will be completely free to actually play in OUR 10-19 PvP Bracket at will without concern of being insta-kicked by 19's once XPOff and XPOn are re-merged. As small as the Twinking Community is and as VAST as WoW's overall subs will be, at least for the months after Legion drops, the chance of a 10 Twink getting into a BG with an actual 19 Twink is slim to none.
