Illusions On Your BoAs

I really do not know if this is common knowledge by now, but I figured I would try out the old xmog bug just like when transmogrification first became available. It turns out that by putting an illusion on your BoA and by simply posting it off to the mail to your designated twink, the illusion carries over :)

So have fun while this lasts, and based from previous xmog bugs, if you get it now the illusion will most likely stay with you forever :)

P.S. You absolutely NEED an Enchanter's Hut (w/e) at level 2 with a follower (Ahm) stationed to it.

**EDIT** It appears that you can do this by also simply walking in another player's Garrison with the Enchanting Hut (level 2 and with illusions).

From what [MENTION=2126]leotseddap[/MENTION] mentioned, by going to someone else's Garrison who has the Enchanting Hut and illusions you can talk to the follower and put the illusion on your own weapons. Whatever you do, dont "View Your Garrison" before leaving, as when I did do this (curious self wanted to know if my level 19 had a Garrison), I lost the illusions.

But make up your mind... enchant, mog, enchantXmog... you used all these terms.

Just tried this and worked fine for me. It kept applied by enchantXmogging the item myself in my garrison on my twink (hence even Xrealm).

And my apologies, didn't experiement with it like I just did.

The correct term is "Illusion", which is basiclaly an enchant transmog like you said.

Ok so, you went to someone's garrison and they put the illusion on your twink's weapons and they stayed? If so, thats awesome and also means I was miss-informed (sorry)

I was not able to do this. My garrison and twinks are on different realms so I invited a twink Xrealm wich was already @ draenor and went into my garrison with it and couldn't illusion my weapons with a main because you can't have enchanting open and the trade window at the same time. However I was able to do it with my twink itself though and did not disapear from the weapons. Tried it on boa first then on a blue weapon and worked fine.

In short: I'm confirming that you can illusion with your twink in another persons garrison ;-)

I really see no reason to why this would dissapear at all and I do not see this as a bug as even the twink it self can do it.

Tried it this morning with your method. First time worked perfectly but I did the mistake of "View Your Garrison" before leaving my friends' garri. The illusions disappeared when I did this. The second time around, I just flew off to the distance, so far I still have them :)

Thanks a lot :p Ill edit my original post saying you can simply do it yourself in your friends garri.

It appears that its a very fragile bug, since my first attempt did not work at the end; the illusions disappeared. So there needs to be a specific way of doing it, which hints towards a possible bug. oh well, bug or not, just wanted twinks to know they could do this.
 
Any1 know if Illusion: Glorious Tyranny is in-game yet and if its possiable to get ?
Really want that BDS look on my shadowfangs :D

It won't be unless they add it in a future patch and you have 2200+ rating in 3's or RBGs required for it normally.
 
Wait, so does this work on non-heirlooms aswell? If so, OMFG im gonna rock 15 agility on fangs/daggers again.
