Ha. it worked for me on BOTH factions (and only achieved it on one back in 2008)....i missed the whole "buy from the tabard vendor", not "recover from the tabard vendor". big diff.

edit: personally, i think we'll see some more come available. if you notice, the Tabard of the Explorer can be purchased AND recovered. The Tabard of the Achiever can only be recovered. The Competitor's Tabard can only be purchased.

I had a GM restore the toon I had this on. I deleted it in WotLK. I gave the guy a good customer service review for it. Now I got another priest on Misha that I will never log onto again.
