If you were to level to 25 to farm and do world PvP, what gears on your 20 would you replace?

I am making a 25 plate toon (i.e., I can wear cloth/leather/mail) and looking for ideas.

Anyone that comes up with an idea that actually impresses me can get 3k gold on blackwinglair horde (limited to 3k per gear slot)

if i like your post, then please make a horde toon on blackwinglair (US) and mail bankoff and i will send over 3k gold.

Ill bite, lets say for some reason blizz upped the f2p cap to 25 here is the changes I would make to a few of my toons. Not including farming higher ilvl greens with sockets/terts of course.

-Priest- Selen Gloves - Handwraps of surrendered Hope
Head - Tattered Glacial Woven hood Belt - Dreaful glads cor dof mediation
Neck - Gf'd neck unchanged Leg - unchanged
Shoulder - Dreadful Glads satin Booty - unchanged
Capey - drape of the loyal vassle socket proc ring 1 - Lordwaycrests signet ( read below) /mastery haste ring
Chest - Dreadful Glads mooncloth chest ring 2 - seal of the regal loyal socket/thorn wovenband socket
Wrist - unchanged Trinket 1 - Scarab brooch ( if it works)/rukhran's Quill
Weapons - ilvl 49 wep Unchanged Trinket 2 - timbal's focusing crystal ( if it works)

Reasoning- with the access to crafted dreadful relic'd of the past at a reasonable lvl ( 14 for us currently at 20) I could see myself moving towards a more haste mastery build. Scarab brooch for healing obviously although I would mostly be playing shadow so I would swap it with something else, pro ruks quill which is pretty much a haste vers ring minus the stamina.

Special mention- lady waycrests and lord waycrests ring/tirnket but only if they had decent procs in pvp, would still use for pve though. Crafted dreadful with relics are ilvl 28 and req lvl 23, I am ok losing like 1 primary for haste and mastery while keeping sockets.

Honourable mentions for my rogue/enh
Double bashgudder- the armour pen on this thing is nuts and procs constantly ( last checked on latest ptr realm old 60 rogue)
Signet of bridenbad socket agi ring for rogue//shammy.
Severed noose of westwind socket neck with agi.

probably lots of other items I missed but this was a quick idea of what I would move around.

Do archeology until you randomly get it, you cant choose what artifact you will get you just have to keep doing them until you get it. Although you can turn in relics from other areas and turn them into the ones needed for the helms specific arch faction. I can't remember which specific one you need for the helm though.

You can trade for other factions in new dalaran.

roughly how long will this take from scratch if you have done it?
 
its been like 5 years since I have done it so I cant say for sure, its totally rng though. Also I did it before the trade npc was put in ( legion) could take you a month could take you several idk. There are probably guides out there that can help you along much better then I can tbh.

I know for a fact you can get them on 29s. I’ve done it on both a horde and an alliance in the past few months. I can’t speak for lower than that.
 
I'd want to try the spiders kiss weapon set that immob1ilized and armor shreds.

turns out the gems themselves are harder to farm than the helm.

4 toons running daily, 2 so far.

There are several helms from the upper level WotLK dungeons that have non-squished stat bonuses.
