If you feel like you have to

Wow i have been gone too long i dont even know half you people in here XD sigh

dont bother coming back, everyone whines and moans about how its so unfair that i bot a character for my honor.

funny how its alliance side and allies are complaining about being unfair....take a closer look at your team compositions next time you enter a BG. then you'll see my point.

Why do you need to bot? lol can u not play the game, seems pretty lame if i say so. Just lvl and get gear like us all, and alliance composition doesn't matter do premades if your tired of it. If you have well coordinated people that play together can win almost any game don't blame alliance or horde for ur botting its your laziness to not learn your class that makes this bracket lame.

Stfu, man up, and play the game.

It isn't hard.

i understand it isnt hard. but its alot easier to have the bot do it for me. you kids just dont understand.

lolwtf at me not knowing my class? i'll play a warrior better then anyone in this bracket. have a seat and take notes.

So I'm kind of having trouble finding what the big deal is too.. Every BG I've been in with Kahr, we've either won or he leaves within the first three minutes.

With Alliance dominating most of the games (I don't think it has to do with classes, I see an equal amount of horde hunters and paladins...) in my opinion it's alright for there to be one person who isn't pulling their "weight" so to speak in the battleground. Usually there is one or two severely under geared toons that can't do crap anyway.

Now for the morality of him using the bot to get honor for BiS gear, well.. In my opinion let him play how he wants to play :-/ No one can stop him from using it, so there's little point in complaining about it. Remember, just my opinion. Sue me.

I started this thread because I thought you were not aware of what your actions were doing and for other people thinking about botting. If you were like most of us, your reaction would have been one of "Oh, I didn't realize that I was causing grief to other people. Guess I could change that." I did not name you because I wanted to allow you the dignity of changing your actions without being called out and having other people judge you for it.

However, as this thread has run its course, it is obvious that there is no changing your mind. Although there have been many points made that could be further argued, I don't see the purpose of it.

Now, I do not normally give advice unless asked for, but I will leave with a bit here for those who do not have deaf ears:

1) Profanity does not make you seem big. It only suggests a limited vocabulary and a poor grasp of language.

2) Cheating (yes it is cheating to bot as it is against Blizzard's policy) in small things leads to cheating in larger things. Studies show this. Actions become habits and habits become lifestyles.

3) Maybe WoW is not the game for you if you want to bot. A large part of this game is the sense of achievement of progressing your character.

4) If you really don't care about an issue, don't respond. The continual arguing and defensiveness of said botter indicates that he does in fact care.

1. i know my language well enough to use it. all i need.

2. cheating in WoW no way says anything about my real life, i have no interest in grinding honor for a month to get my BoAs.

3. i get no sense of achievement from getting anything for my character, blizzard made everything so god damn easy so theres no such thing anymore.

4. milking. all i have to say about my bot: you get what you pay for(in this communites case, nobody pays for the game, so you get shit quality.)

The fact that ppl "bot" at all indicates that there is something wrong with the game. You can't just brush it aside and say its somehow the players fault that "mmo-grinding-xyz" is offensive to human nature. Not so coincidentally is this offense the very reason ppl "enjoy" it once its finished i.e., "feeling accomplishment."

In this bracket you certainly CANNOT point to imbalancing the bgs when the botter is on alliance side.

The only reasonable point that is raised is one of "cheating."

Perhaps you have heard of individuals that break a system (grey hat hackers) in order to improve it by revealing errors in the system. Though I highly doubt that good will is the motivating factor the result is the same. However, I also highly doubt anyone at blizzard cares enough to fix the game as opposed to punishing the "bad behavior."

While this and many other "problems" with the human condition are due to selfishness you cannot just expect ppl to follow your own personal moral code of conduct. This is an open bracket, this is not a guild and no one in it should set/enforce rules for the community.

I don't think it is a "personal moral code of conduct" that says that if you are dead-weight on a competitive team, then you are screwing your team member over, and if you then act in a public forum towards those same team members like you don't give a crap about them, then you're basically a jerk. Rule of the Sandbox is not a personal moral code of conduct, it is a universal code of conduct: Play nice with others, or they won't want to play with you. Selfishness, as you correctly labeled it, is just that: selfish behavior of only caring about yourself and not other people. Kahr has made it plenty evident (through this escapade and others in the past) that he doesn't care about anyone but himself, and that is not sportsmanlike. This is a multiplayer game, and we are all part of a team. If you screw over your team and then make it clear that you don't care about them, no one is going to want you around. That isn't a personal moral code, that is just simple cause-and-effect.

AKA, 'Do unto others as you would have them do unto you'.

The effects of which will soon be coming into play.

I mentioned nothing about the consequences of such actions, but this is it. The facts remain. This is not a competitive bracket, free yes, but not competitive. The very nature of this bracket has an unsettling ratio of noobs to twinks. Anyone can come and go, only select clicks of ppl will require a certain code to play with them. And another more select click will "enforce" it.

I would prefer to think that ppl could leave drama out, but that seems to be easier said than done on ALL sides.
