Please don't kick Kancer out of Booty Bay! You know, besides dueling or 2s being far more effective in judging whose better, it would probably be alot more entertaining too. Do you still not have a Ret set? If you do, why not set up two different series, one where you play ret and he plays holy, and another where the roles are switched.

Duels are the clearest indicator of how well you play your class. The only thing you can rely on, the only thing you have to fall back on is yourself. Granted, this doesn't mean that arena and wsg ability directly correlate to one another, but it's usually fair to assume that the better the player is in arena, the better he is in wsg (and vice versa of course). Naturally this is under the assumption that the player has spent an ample amount of time in both arena and wsg.

You're incorrect in thinking that. Kancer and Idiote are the same class, level, spec, race, and even gender. They have the exact same opportunties as one another. If one of them was to clearly outperform the other, it would translate into that person being better at not just pally verse pally duels, but at there class. Assuming rng didn't heavily favor one of them, the winner will win because of either quicker reflexes, a better thought out plan, or both. Those same superior reflexes and/or tactics would also be relevant in wsg. So, I disagree. I think duels have a huge bearing on overall skill, showing far more than just..."oh hey im better at killing so and so".
