lvling a hunter currently. any tips and idea on how to get the raid gear?

when you get a BG pop at the start ask if anyone is planning any raids, someone with a class that you don't compete with for gear, may let you tag along, you will most likely need a battletagID to exchange to group and talk cross realms with PVE or PVP servers
- use social and do searches for 90's is certain areas by typing in who
--black (to see who is in BT)
--sunwell (for SWP)
--isle (look for 90's on isle of quel danas)
--zang (zangarmarsh for 90's which may be getting ready to run SSC)
--serpent (SSC)
--temp (TK)
--blades (blades edge mountain - gruuls lair)
--hyjal (hyjal summit in COT)
- actually go to area where the raid is (easy to do while waiting for BG pops)
--especially helps for TK/SSC ring start quest, "vials of eternity" tell them you need no loot only iquest item to do quest
--use general chat asking if anyone is doing raid you need, this will let CRZ 90's see it who don't show up on social
--hang outside, i have seen times where CRZ 90's are pouring in BT, SWP
--know which classes share your gear type and badges, like if you are a mage, tagging along with a rogue or druid may not be a good idea
--ask the 90's politely if you could join, ask them what they are farming and tell them what you looking for

- know what raids have NPCs at front (BT, SSC) or insert portals (Hyjal) and where they port you in farther as bosses are killed. some 90's will say they don't want to clear trash. also tell the 90's they will not have to res or clear trash for you, the trash they have to kill will allow you into loot range
example
in SWP, you can stay at the front, when 90 attacks first boss, you are in loot range and most of the time you get auto ported to that boss when the first starts, even if the 90 blows up first boss (super rare), NPC at front will port you there
in SWP NPC at front will port you to where area warlocks died, and later near next to last boss
at 4th boss try to die near the overlook to last boss, after loot on last 2 bosses run back, then out. badge and some gear exchanges are done at boat near the FP there
