I have a few questions that could use an answer. =)

Hey everybody, so I have some questions that I need answers to. I used the search bar to find answers but there is never an actual 100% answer. So please help me?

1. Engineering or Skinning? I'm going for lucky fishing hat so I wouldn't need the goggles.

2. What enchants should I use on my MH Sword, MH Dagger, and OH Sword? I know a vast amount of people have asked this question, but I cant find an answer that fully answers it.

3. Should I get extra weapons for more enchants?

4. Which is better: +5 weapon damage or +15 agility, and why?

5. Is using an addon that swaps to a dagger when stealthed considered no skill or cheap?

6. Can we cross-faction trade anymore? Like I have something on horde that I want to trade to my ally. =o

7. This is a really lame question, flame me, but what is the correct way to target someone during a bg or anytime. Usually I click on em but I miss so it's not accurate. Other times I press tab and I target the wrong person.

8. I always keep my #1 key as auto attack to target someone as well or if I want to start attacking but have no energy to SS right away. Should I keep #1 as auto attack or use the space for another move and attack some other way? This is just the way I have learned so I dont know any other way. 0.o At least I'm not a clicker. XD Actually I'm like, the complete opposite of a clicker. ahaa

^^please help me out guys. =)

Thanks,

1. My opinion:

Engineering for gnomes

Skinning for non-gnome hunters and rogues

Mining for the rest

2. You'll get lots of different replies on this one. For those 3 weapons: MH sword fiery, MH dagger +5 weapon damage, OH sword +15 agi or fiery.

3. Yes. At least so that you have 1x lifestealing, 2x fiery, 2x 15 agi and a dagger with +5 weapon damage.

4. Both. +5 weapon damage on daggers because ambush scales insanely well with weapon damage. However I believe ambush is crap most of the time, and that the best opening is a garrote with +15 agi in both your hands.

5. I don't consider that cheap. Use addons if it helps.

6. Through the neutral AH in booty bay/gadgetzan. You can't bid on your own account's items though so you need a friend to put them up or buy them.

7. I click 99% of the time.

8. I recommend taking auto attack off one of your best keybinds. You can always start auto attacking with sinister strike. On some melee toons I have kept an auto attack keybind, though. But not '1', you'll want something else on it. On my druid for example, I had shift+R as auto attack.

As for the above poster, I agree with pretty much everything, except that I right click to auto attack if I have no energy.

I use tab target if two targets are on top of each other. Otherwise, I click.

I heard people arguing about icy because with hunters and every class that slows, they have the advantage but you can switch that by slowing them down. Just what I heard, don't know if it viable. Thanks for replying though. really helpful. =)

Anyone else have oppinions that I should know? =)

^^^ahaa, explain? I mean, it could be viable. Just curious. =)

Oh, and also, When looking at vids, I see in some people's action bar a piece of equipment, but theres a green border? I have no idea what it is. Answer this to please? =)

1: personally i would go for engi regardless of race since i prefer stam to crit, especially on a toon without agm or hat or w/e. If money is short and youre really dedicated to fishing you could go straight to mining so you can keep the stam after you've got the hat. However if you're lazy skinning is the easiest to lvl since you'll be lvling it with herb anyway.

2: dualfiery has been proven to have the best dmg output on SF preferably, if not then CB

3: Yes

4: for ambush and the like, i believe 5 wep dmg is the best on MH and 15 agi on OH. In RvR duels dual agi, most other situations dual fiery

5: OFC not, it can be considered noobish not to do so.

6: Yes through the goblin AH, tho you'll need 2 accs to do this, or your account and a friend

7: personally i usually click, tho others i know prefer to tab. it comes down to personal preference. try practising with both and find which you prefer.

8: your "T" key is automatically keybound to autoattack so you can easily put a different move on your 1 key.

Tab targetting is really efficient as long as you learn how to control it. It's a lot better than clicking the little avatars dodging around the screen, which also takes a lot of focus to do - time wasted imo.

You can also set keybinds for targetting focus-targets, target-of-targets, last-targetted, etc. Check out the Keybinding interface for some ideas.

Yes Icy it's very viable. I suggest that you DW it on two [item]Buzzer Blade[/item] . Don't listen to what the others say.

May I ask what is the use of lifesteal?

better than fiery for rogue duels. gives more healing while you battle and overall hp differential. becomes less effective once healers and bandages come into play.

also i can see icy being something you could use in WSG since 19 rogues don't have any slows. chasing an EFC could be easier with icy but since in premades your role is different and in pugs most EFCs are retarded then it shouldn't be used very often.

finally, crusader brings a good deal of burst to the table, don't count it out...

Having an equipment piece on your toolbar means that when you click it you will equip it, and if you click it again it will use the on use of that item (if it has one). The green border means its currently equipped.

can't say I agree, I actually have 2 [item]Buzzer Blade[/item] with icy and often when I switch into them against a EFC or whatever, it takes about two minutes to get a single proc.

Therefor making a damaging enchant better.

so you're sure that if you attack someone for 2 minutes you'll always only get one proc at a time

In answer to 7 and 8, you might want to look into macros. I'd use something along the lines of the macro below, which I would keybind to 4, which is an easy key to press while retaining all of your keyboard movement options and leaving your mouse free to direct your movement instead of trying to click a target.

#showtooltip

/targetenemy [noharm]

/stopmacro [noharm]

/startattack

/cast [mod] Eviscerate; Sinister Strike
