i've been fishing for OVER 2 years, on ONE toon, i've missed about 15-18 sundays total, until i gave up a while ago.



nevertheless, im happy for you. congrats.

But, for realz, grats to the OP. You earned that hat. If you had never gotten it, you would be a different person for it.

My prediction, Fish on sundays for the full two hours and you'll have it in less than 6 months. When I say fish I mean actually FISH with fish finder and swim speed/swiftness pots to get to the nodes faster and maybe take an escort with you that has a riding mount.

He had all of these, he was on my old server and I know he NEVER got one before this. Just because the vast majority of people get the hat in a reasonable amount of time doesn't mean there are not the people that have an unlucky streak. If you seriously think that this cannot happen to anybody then you are extremely arrogant and have no experience with statistics whatsoever.



Plus why would such a well known player tag on some useless garbage if it wasn't true? I'm sure what he posts is valid and the truth, and in the case of his recently acquired hat I am 100% sure, without a doubt.

From what I have seen as of late on TI, it has become a place not just for legit Information but for a bunch of needy pre-teen attention whore trolls that have nothing better too do then to post non-helpful, garbage, mindless and utterly useless text that resembles something known as a human thought.



To be honest, I am embarrassed to say that I am a part of the human race if people like this exist.

With my first twink, I got the hat in 14 months and the boots 3 after that, only missing a few sundays. My luck really sucks badly when it comes to fishing. Seems like everyone on Illidan has shit for luck. My friend Schmuckie has been trying whole-heartedly for the last 2 and a half years, until he finally gave up a month ago.
 
I fished every sunday when my rogue was 19. After 6 months of that, I still hadnt gotten a single rare.



Then the Fishing Boots were patched. The next Sunday, I got a pair of boots.



I was pretty fucking pissed, I tell you hwhat
