I would agree with you. I only find myself tiring of the experience when I am caught in mid by a hunter from nearly 40 yards away, only to have him S key his way to victory.

Well speaking specifically of WSG mid has no LoS giving skillkiting hunters free reign to rip apart rogues and warriors, apparently giant tree stumps aren't solid irl. Who knew?
