Hunter Pvp

i still wouldn't equate hunters with warriors. warriors are so awful atm.



i mean, if you are a tard and are just standing still trying to shoot people while you're getting beat on, then yeah you're weak as hell. but skill at mobility can make up for a lot of hunter's weaknesses right now imo.

kiting on a PVE hunter doesnt happen, theres a 10% chance you will be able to survive to the disengage of someone is hitting on you, course if that happens and you dont die, theres still the fact that your usually on low health with everyone focusing the high dps hunter
 
I've been playing a BM hunter for the last two days doing pretty constant BG's. I've got to say that other than the fact that rogues bend me over constantly I have quite a bit of fun with it. Maybe I'd draw less attention if I didn't have Chromaggus as a pet dropping heroism on us and screwing up the healers all the time, but that's how I roll.



This is my twink, and I'm happy with her. What I would like to know is if anyone knows of a site like Mr.Robot that will help you set up a BiS character, but will actually allow you to limit your limit to 70?

And aye, chromaggus is an eye-grabber, and not always for the right reasons.

Thanks, though I was actually more interested in what the best gems were and what substitutes I could use for the BiS gear since I really don't think I'll be getting a bezerkers call without making a time machine.

All agility to be a stupidly offensive, death machine of a glass cannon, All resilience to hit like a napkin, but survive being onehit, and something in between if you are unsure, i'd recommend getting several sets of brutal/swp tier, gem some for agi, resi, etc. just swap out depending on the situation. I roll with over 4.3k AP in battlegrounds with around 230 resilience, good fun.
 
Ok, i see. I'm running around at 2.4k RAP and 407 resilience, though I still get stomped on real bad by rogues. Looking at the Chardev for hunters I'm a little confused by the spell pen on the cloak, what's the rational behind that? Are hunter shots and stings considered spells, and thus need spell pen to get past resilience?

Yep, Arc shot, SrS and Chimera are reduced by resistances, aswell as traps. Of all the races, gnomes/blood elves have arcane, tauren/night elf have nature, dwarf has frost, and dreanei/forsaken have shadow, each get 1 resistance point per level, which ends up being Aprox 28% @ 70, so 70 spell pen helps.



And haven't played Beast mastery since the buffs to marks, but 95% of rogues are pushovers as marks, just be sure to have a scorpid/crab with you.
 
Haha every time I see some 12k hp hunter I have to lol, only know now that theyre actually wearing full brutal lmao ^^
