Hunter pvp/gear questions

Hello, few questions about hunter pvp (solo bg's no arena).



1. Can anyone link me a mm pvp chardev ?

2. stam or ap leg enchant ?

3. runspeed or agi boots enchant ?

4. 2 or 4 t6 pieces ?

4. ap or agi gems for bm ?

5. How much spellpen ?

6. What trinket should i use ? ( Professions=alchemy+engineer)

7. Honor or kj back ? ( kj back seems horrible itemized)

I'm confused by ur post.



I never played a high lvl hunter but i'm pretty sure u need spellpen for traps n shot's



also blackened naaru silver is really better then Gnomish Lightning Generator - Item - World of Warcraft ?

As marks, almost every thing you do is physical.

in the last 2 years, only 1 of my traps was resisted, and we still won.

and i dont like the chance of it doing dammage to my self, if you use a lot of pve gear that backfire can really hurt, and raw ap > dammage that can get absorbed

Well if you like having your traps resisted twelve times in a row go without spellpen.



Atleast go with 35+ spellpen enchant on cloak. My MotW gives exactly 35 to all resistances. Of course there are racials and mage armor, so you might want to add spellpen gems.

Duuuuuude I got an 85 and 70 hunter, and traps resist less frequently than i get booty action.



As for Blackened naruu silver i dont think its optimal its more of a pve trinket procs any time either you need it or not, i got it but i dont use it. DT is very good for MM, same with Tsunami. I think the jc trinket would be way better tho

Figurine - Shadowsong Panther - Item - World of Warcraft <- always always better with on use trinkets for pvp and especially one as powerfull as that one.

That engi trinket i would only take for its on use ability, crit is really not a stat we need more of -> you would be looking at 40-49% crit in just pvp gear and araund 55% crit in pve gear so yeah not very valuable to us as a whole.

Runspeed no option, only a nab would drop those 8% on a hunter. And lol, no its not to catch fleeing enemies.. its for kiting... But you wont notice those extra 8% if you are backpedaling... *no pun intended chris*

Anything but someone who has multiple toons or doesnt pvp as much as you think they should

Im currently running a ressi heavy set for 3s and just under 2k and still climbing



Playing BM for the survivability with Roar of sacrifice (12 seconds of 20% less dmg and immune to crits on a 42 sec cd cy@ shatter) and the 1.4min extra trinket



Im gemming 10 agi 10 ressi in everything because if you see a hunter in area at 70 the term that springs to mind is "LOL HUNTER WITH NO DETERANCE LETS GO GLOBAL HIM" and im currently at about 30% ressi



stam leg enchant brings me to around 14k with the priest and druid i play with which is a comfortable number.



As for spell pen, it doesnt even affect traps as blizzard cant find a way for our spell pen to benefit the trap rather itself as its the trap that casts trap not the hunter if you get what i mean, and yes its been confirmed.

yes i need ot change my meta and yes i need the pants and fists from lolwell but its a relitivly new twink that ive had for a while but never bothered gearing properly untill now.



as for the gear ide go with 3 peice pvp gear (because the 4peice bonus is trash) for the ressi and the sunwell lgoves and legs that when gemmed with 10 agi 10 ressi give a significant stat increase at a loss of 4 resilience

I dont find bg's fun. It either i go 60-0 with a pocket healer, or 3 rogues ambush me with precision, there's an ally guild that hates me with a passion

and i did the r13 grind back in the day, enough bg's for a lifetime.

alright i have a completly different opnion on hunters than anyone else in this thread.



to be honest, i think the class is possibly the worst one @ 70, but i seam to make do. i go full pve gear, so completly glass cannon. i have around 3.1k ap and 50% crit, i can global most targets, and put heavy pressure on resilance stacked tergets or even kill them myself.



now this is because i dont do arenas on this character, i just like the power i have as a hunter, aimed shot - chimera usually is at least 9+ dmg.



Durpdurp @ Nagrand - Game - World of Warcraft durpdurp is the best pve geared pvp hunter i know of, hes a friend of mine.



Ghostwave @ Frostmourne - Game - World of Warcraft is my hunter, it isnt fully bis yet, missin chest, helm, offhand and ring.



glass cannon hunter isnt for everyone, like a average bg score is something like 30-10, most kills and deaths on your team.



and golden bow > thori'dal, me and durp both agree, crit and agi and slowness > haste and dps of bow



this set works best for MM, as you need the aimed>chimera massive burst dps. of course that means that i have negative survibility. as with anyclass, the gear choices are up to you and your play style

ey areodynamic, can you give us some tips to play hunter pvp, what kind of shot we have to do and when, or if dots are important, (i mean like for example basics tip to play again rogues, warr dks fros etc)

Agil ofc then you get 5% from mail with another 5% from kings/mark, in addition to the flat 25% ap bonus. Also for Bm i would try to keep away from haste as much as possible. Alot better just stacking stam agil crit and resil.
