hunter pets!

hey guts, recently started twinking a hunter and I have this question, at lvl 19, does it matter which pet you take due to abilities or just take the cat cuz it dpsen best?

All pets are exactly the same, cats do not dps more. Pick a pet that you like the looks of, or that has an aesthetic advantage. I use Dishu as it looks like a druid in travel form. I have named it the same name as a popular resto druid (Healbear). It is, however, completely up to you.

at the moment on the latest beta build hunter pets are getting some special back. boar has charge and so on.

I remember when you had a boar to stop a warrior in charge the spider to snare bat to interrupt and hienna for tendon rip the only reason I had a hunter was pets

It seem more like ALL pets have charge, or at least the different ones I used on ptr.. imobalize for 1 sec and increases the next attack from the pet by 25%.

Instant cast and 25 sec cd.

Also Beast mater spec gives your pet Kill Command wich is the same as before exept your pet can do it from 25 yard range..(will use the charge skill first time if you got it on auto, but if not it will "charge" by it own to get in range to the KK wich is pretty damn nice)


more OT:
As of right night .. yes the tena beast got more hp.. 2.5% to be exact. also why I used a scopid for cata (looks cool and is in the tenacity class)


... But rly just go for w/e pet you find most appealing.


Edit: Oh .. and mop it seems like pets will do loads more dmg ^^

u must be using all tenacity pets then.

Tenacity pets have "charge" "last stand" plus a few more
Feroicty pet have "Dash" "rabid" even "Heart of the phoenix"
Cunning pets have ""dash" too and "Roar of Sacrifice" "bullheaded"

there a few more moves to each class, passives too but i cant stuffed listing them all.
