Hunter (MM) - Scaled Boomstick or Heirloom?

Hi all,

Gearing my hunter now. Is it worth it to take scaled (ilvl 58) Bomstick (https://www.wowhead.com/item=2100/precisely-calibrated-boomstick) and therefor skip the Incendiary Ammunition (Heirloom bow/gun)?

Also - Green Dragonscale set, is it worth it or a no go?

What are you going to put on it? Incendiary is pretty badass... and any level can use it on a BoA. Try it. Decide.

Until ammo gets nerfed, heirloom is bis every bracket before 111 (unless you want to exploit and risk losing the scaled gun in the process)

I have an ilevel 55 swiftmend with 10.8 dps and 28 agi with a +5 scope. It does a fairly noticeable amount of extra damage, but the burst of incendiary is just so useful. If I had good healers/team I would probably switch, but all the rest of them time I'd go with heirloom. Pretty much the same with boomstick but id be more apt to use it in lesser quality groups. And yes green dragonscale is worth it, but there are rather good pieces that are close until you get the set.

How are you able to enchant the incendi on á BoE (Boomstick)?

incend/frost ammo is gettin nerfed next patch but will keep 70% of live damage. Idk though if it will keep insane crits like it do on live . Some player's are using gale-force striking since u can apply it any level and weapon
