Hunter Kiting Guide

I was scared shitless in the first 2 seconds when the song kinda sounded like text to speech...

Good basic guide, do you plan on making more videos in the future?

Yea I thought I had seen a couple of your other videos thats why I was asking, good stuff.

Sorry but backstrafing > strafe keys :( Do a video about how to kite while backstrafing plz. Your video was good and educational tho, but it's not the most effective way of kiting!

How to Backstrafe, by Ebah - Korgath - YouTube
That's pretty much what I do, but this guide is for beginners lol. And I find it pointless to turn left and right while doing it lol, you can just go that way but without jumping left and right..

I use both strafing and backstrafing depending on the situation and environment. If you can keep your target near the left or right edges of your front 180, you can just strafe them at ~85-90 degrees all day. You will tend to move in a slightly curved line as you keep them just inside your front arc, but for most midfield work or duels that's okay. It's only when you definitely need to move in a mostly straight line, like being in a tunnel, that backstrafing is necessary. However the tradeoff is that the jumping necessary to do backstrafing is less effective when going up or down hill like in a tunnel. So I usually use regular strafing to "tack" (if you know sailing terms) up a tunnel, and then quickly spin to tack up the other strafe when I get close to a wall.

Bottom line, as long as you're moving away from your target at running speed, never presenting him your back, and you're not running into anything, you're good to go.
