Hey all.
So after having a look through the changes to the proposed Mists of Pandaria hunter talent tree, I am very happy with what I see. For those of you who don't know, in the previous rendition, Readiness was on the 75 tier and the 15 tier was full of (far from dazzling) auto-shot passive enhancements, which were next to worthless. Now, a new level 90 tier of talents has been introduced, the passive auto-shot augmentations removed and all the previous talents have been moved up one tier. This means that Readiness is currently in the 60 tier.
From what I can see, if I haven't missed anything, Hunters appear not to be losing anything in the 70 bracket, gaining a passive 15% damage taken reduction, and various useful enhancements to Disengage.
Because of this, I intend to once again run a hunter/warrior team in Mists of Pandaria (assuming the trees stay the same they are currently).
My second point is a question, which quite simply asks:
Which race do you think is the best suited to Hunters in a PvP setting (regardless of faction). Goblins and Humans both offer useful bonuses and I'm interested to know how you guys weigh them out.
Finally, I am interested in the usefulness and/or viability of the Gyrofreeze Ice Reflector, which I recently crafted on my Hunter. Whilst we are a strong counter to mages, it would appear to provide an 'emergency' defensive cooldown, if a mage manages to still be alive after both scatters, silences, roar etc. have been used. I intend to start trials to estimate a rough percentage success rate of the on-use effect.
Thanks for reading, and I look forward to seeing your feedback.
Cheers,
Meat
