It was a great thread, but rather than just link the post... I felt angry about it a figured that everyone should experience it rather than just read it.



I'm usually quite a tolerant person, but even I have my limits. I decided that I am intolerant of overpowered hunters and I am sure that the majority thinks the same way I do.

Something tells me the only time Cotus has ever seen a priest play against hunters is in a duel. If he wasn't talking out his ass (as usual) then it's pretty obvious we'd be seeing more priests.



Priest, singular, counters hunter, singular. Any more and the hunters just focus the priests down one at a time.

i will be nice to you because you are a nice guy and a helpful person. "counter" in videogames means to have an advantage against something. it does not mean the same thing as "counter" in the context of normal english speech



for example, in an RTS game, oftentimes a rush will be a "counter" to a fast expansion, a fast tech will be a "counter" to a rush, and a fast expansion will be a "counter" to a fast tech. in the WoW 20 bracket, a mage is a "counter" to healers because there are very few instant heals at this level and counterspell easily prevents healing. in football, a base cover 2 defense is a "counter" to teams that try to throw the ball a lot from a 2-wide set



i hope this cleared things up successfully without having to resort to my usual disparaging comments



edit: and to make things 100% clear, in case some random idiot does not understand, shielding yourself and turreting flash heals so you don't die does *not* put you at an advantage against hunters

In your own words:

hunters are godmode at level 20, period. noobs will try to tell you that they can "1v1" hunters on some other twink they have, or that you can "counter" hunters using (insert random stupid idea here). no. hunters are literally unstoppable at level 20 in BGs.
