ok guys im finally sick of being on a server all by myself, and im looking to roll a panda hunter on ap already 10 with it so no turning back my question is which faction is better on ap horde, or ally, by this i mean which one has a more thriving community, with more arenas, premades, and just general group activities.

Everyone who plays Horde is going to say Horde, and who plays Alliance are going to say Alliance. Since leveling up a character is so easy, I recommend you make one of each and then see which group has the dynamic that you prefer. They are both equally as active, but don't necessarily have the same day-to-day personality.

Alliance: Like to be challenged in PuGs, Premades, Arenas.

im sure theres people that play both that would be more objective about this, or some other reason why they wouldn't recommend my to their faction just because i asked which side to play on, and i can wait a while because i really dont want to run up and gear 2 separate hunters on ap, but i get were your coming from Kincaide cause that was my main concern about making this thread in the first place.

I play on both,more people on Horde and more activity, but if you like challenging PuG games roll Alliance.

correct me if im wrong neon but what your saying is that playing on AP ally is like playing an ally toon anywhere as in you'll be mostly pugging except with the chance of an occasional arena or premade.

while playing ap horde is all about the premades not just pugging by yourself.

There are premades on ally side aswell, and usually more skilled players than on horde.

Here's another suggestion for you. Rather than leveling up a character on both sides as I had suggested before, just make a low level character on both sides and sit in chat for an hour or two on each faction, on a typical busy night. That will give you an idea not only how many premades are being run (as you can see every time the addon makes groups) but will also give you an idea of the kind of chat and kind of people each faction contains.

You're basically never going to get a totally unbiased opinion here, and the opinion that counts the most is your own.

Obviously horde will have more premades and arenas atm. Couldn't you just have logged in and looked which side was most populated during peak-time?

I'm on AP ally atm, there's always arena @ prime time(did some funny shit the other day). I've also never not had 3+ willing to premade with me @ any given moment in BGs that are 100000000x more fun than horde BGs because they're competitive.

I always complain about AP Alliance, but it really isn't that bad.
Battlegrounds can certainly be frustrating, but if you premade with others (and like Brov said, there are always people willing,) you'll be alright.

I think the main idea here is that either side will now leave you unsatisfied. Do what side you want. Just not horde or else I hate you.

Funny because AP horde is the home for many of the brackets best players of each class.
