Hello everyone! I am new to the site and I thought I would make a post introducing myself. =D



As you see, my name is Cyrexis and so is my main twink. She is a 39 human mage named Cyrexis as well. If you play in the 39 bracket I am sure you have seen me around. I have been twinking for four years and know this class inside and out.



I am offering my expertise to anyone who would wish to hear them. =D



I have extensive knowledge of mage twinking in the 29 and 39 brackets. I could make a guide but that is just too time consuming and I just don't have that much time. So if you have any questions you can ask them here or just simply send me a PM on the site. Or if you want to, just contact me in game on the server Medivh.

P.S. I do apologize to anyone to whom my emote spams may offend. I only do it to aggravate the enemy, which in turn, makes them easier to kill due to frustration. =)

your emotes hurt my feelings almost as much as your fireballs :p

The guide you were speaking of could be of use to me, seeing as how i may roll a 39 mage twink (frost specced probably)
 
If he doesn't have it.... all i can say is that is a mistake. Survivability > Utility > DPS for a mage imo.
 
Some people prefer the extra damage. Just, if you're going that direction, go all the way and get surefooted instead of 12 stam to boots.
 
I knew that question would come up sooner or later. I did have Blazing Speed for a little while but in recent experiences, I found it to be a waste to me.



See, I twinked in the 29 bracket for three years before moving to 39. In 29, we don't have Blazing Speed and I have became used to not having it to bail myself out of trouble. I have became pretty much an escape artist in the extreme. I rarely die. I don't think I have ever died more than five times in any BG I have done in the 39 bracket. Half the time, I don't even get hit enough to even proc it. So, I decided to give myself the extra damage.



But my build right now is sort of an experiment. I exchanged Ignite for Burning Determination and World in Flames. Going to see how that goes. Right now, I am a little iffy on it.



To me, I never look at guides on how people build characters. I just throw myself into the BGs and see what I use and decide which way I want to go. I prefer to build my spec around what I use. Not use whatever is a common spec.

lol not at all, I rather prefer frost ;) it was a joke on that if anything.
 
Imagine arcane barrage in lower brackets... mmmm I'd reroll mage in a heartbeat.
