Lapsed/Active Subscriptions Renewal Using Gold:
With an active subscription there are many ways to "renew" your main account. you can use in-game gold, credit cards, pay-pal, & battle.net balance to buy wow tokens/game time/battle.net balance or 1, 2, 3, 6, 12 month subscription services via (real money).

With a lapsed subscription... there are only 2 ways to renew without using a credit cards, paypal, & timecards:

• Have enough active gold on 1 character or realm to purchase a wow token for game time at character selection screen.
• Navigate to this exact page "which was a pain in the ass to find" in the battle.net store https://us.shop.battle.net/en-us/product/world-of-warcraft-game-time?p=142401 and purchase the 2 months game time via battle.net account balance. (This method can be used to get all the RAF mounts and rewards.)

This can also be used to gain RAF bonuses on linked accounts.

• To be eligible for the World of Warcraft Recruit a Friend (RaF) program,
• a player's account must either be new (created within the last 7 days)
• or have been inactive (without paid game time) for at least 24 months.
• The recruiter must also have active game time on their account.
• The recruited account can also be a new free trial account.

• New Accounts: The account must be created within the last 7 days.
• Inactive Accounts: The account must have been inactive (without paid game time) for at least 24 months. Note: There is a 7-day grace period for previously inactive accounts to be recruited after game time is added.
