How to get level 50 boots (or closest) for speed enchant for lvl 20 FTP?

Well...... not a rocket scientist here or anything, but lock at level 16 and get a pair of ilvl 49 boots with prefered stat layout?

It is easily missable, but under the "Speed" set section of the F2P guide, there is a list of boots that will let you enchant them - https://xpoff.com/threads/dragonflight-f2p-baseline-guide.99104/post-1308016, the first two boots in the list don't count though

Already missed my boat. Wonder at level 20 where you get leather boot under 50. So far mine is the https://www.wowhead.com/item=25924/swamprunners-boots. With 2 sockets it is acceptable but would like to see if anything better.

there are green gear vendors in MOP that sell gear that scales based on level when you buy it. for a 20 i believe the i-level is 39

Swamprunner's Boots at level 20 is ilvl 39. With the 2 sockets, it seems to be the best leather wearer can find.

wouldnt epic proc put it over ilv 50?

According to Wowhead, epic version of Swamprunner Boots is ilv 57, which would make it ineligible for the minor speed enchant.....
however....
If you level to 21 and get a BLUE proc of these boots, it is exactly at ilv 50, meaning it can get both the enchant and the speed gems. All youd need to do is hope for a blue proc and find a GM to de-level you lol.

proc to blue is ideal but not a big deal as it only adds 1agi 1sta. the boot has no tert.
