How to find item changes once TBC drops?

I see people saying this changes to that, these become this, yada yada. How are you seeing these changes? I want to plan ahead a bit and put together some builds but I can only find items at the vanilla or shadowlands itemization. The search engines that I did find with TBC items at level 80 only listed.

I know that seemed like a really clever response but that isn't what I'm asking for. I'm asking for a comparison tool to see how each item changes when TBC drops. I appreciate the effort, though.

There is no tool to check it. It is just past experience with TBC + databases where we get the info that some items might be useful in the next expansion
