How to beat a hunter as rogue..?

Beside being ranged...and mainly cows with tons of health... they got to much skills that are anti-rogue...

small list:

1) hunters mark... If ur marked no way getting near a hunter any more.

2) concussive shot... (5 seconds long.. not even require range to use)

3) wingclip... (blizzard should though hunters are warriors)

4) Improved aspect of the hawk.. (Speed it up!)

5) pets that web / etc. fuk you up (Yes and we got less dodge in patch, thanks blizzard!)

Simply said, every bit skilled hunter can escape from a rogue ...

Even if I burn all my Cooldowns... like use sprint -- ow crap a web -- ow crap the hunter runs into a group of 9 other hunters -- or to the heal buff and comes back with 100% health -- kite me forever (till i give up and run away) -- etc.

At least it's quiet impossible to kill a hunter...

Maybe any tips how to deal with them?

I got one, its pretty simple:

1. Press your "Stealth" button.

2. Sneak over to the hunter.

3. Sap him.

4. Sap him again (just for pleasure).

5. Ambush him.

6. Switch to your sword.

7. Sinister spam.

8. AND BAM = HUNTARD DEADZ

1. Sure.

2. Still probably ok.

3. OOPS! Spider saw through your stealth and webbed you.

4. Hunter either waits for the sap to wear off, or trinkets.

5. Back to being kited around.

Lol?

2. When you are at your screensaver, then click on the button, in the left cornor.

3. THEN TURN OFF YOU GOD DAMN COMPUTER!

in arena, you can LOS hunters pretty well...it is kinda interesting because it seems that the rogue has a 50% chance of winning once both are playing their classes to near perfection.

that said, in outdoors wsg all you can do is pray that they backpeddal and don't jumpshot. going indoors helps too so you can LOS the hunter more (and perhaps kill the pet) but if it knows how to kite you are rarely going to kill it alone.

Ding ding ding, we have a winner. Outdoors in WSG, you will most likely get trashed. Gotta admit, a good rogue inside can really screw a hunter up, and I have been beaten by my guildy rogue because he can pillar hump like a mofo. And yes, all good hunters jumpshoot.

Rarely have i had a solo rogue kill my hunter in the open. Its inside that they are a problem. Just like the OP said hunters have way too many ways of negating a rogues best abilities. Dwarf hunters are especially problematic for rogues, stoneskin ftw :p.

If a rogue plans on ambushing a hunter he better to god hope that it kills him first or second shot, most twinked hunters have enough HP to live thru the initial ambush/SS tho. Then with a pot or HS they are back to full life kiting you again :(

hunters get improved dodge and monkey speed glyph? who cares. the game isnt made so 1 class can defeat all the rest....as a rogue I find the only 2 classes that can beat us without having to barely try is a hunter and a flame shock shaman with some profession buffs. even now with dodge nerfed rogues are STILL better than warlocks, warriors, druids, other rogues and paladins(not including DKs). Sure, maybe a good rogue could beat a good hunter. but its gonna be based 60% on the chance that your going to dodge a few wingclips and that the rogue knows how to play against a hunter. when vsing hunters my main strategy is to run in as stealth, no matter what prevent the hunters mark before stealth. sap the hunter then move away to see if he wastes his pvp trinket, wether or not he uses his trink wait 15 secs before saping again, then make the 2nd sap, attack the pet and run behind the nearest object you can line of site the hunter from, while spamming the pet watch the hunters moves and keep the line of site blocked. once the pet is dead try stealth again(unless marked) run in, ambush/garrote...or just sinister if whatever else isnt handy. then simply hope you can defeat the hunter by running around like a mad cow using your line of site blockers and keep up your gouging/eviserating ....on my first combo point i pop slice n dice for that boost of dps for a few seconds. its pretty easy but hunters are still buffed over rogues in the first place.

a few other classes beat rogues if they know how to play but yeah. mainly just the classes with slows and ranged spells. since rogues dont have the advantage of crippling poison at 19 but if rogues have stealth. we only pick our prey. just chose someone you can kill unless you want the long chalenging frustrating fight of a class better than a rogue. but it is hard sometimes when hunters are extreemly over-rolled. if you dont want the fight, dont pick the fight.

On my hunter only really good rogues with all their cd's can beat me.. Haven't played on it post-wotlk though, so might have changed.. I would assume 450 mining or herb would make them more OP though..
