250$ max
Lmfa0 yeah i tricked a GM 4 times in a row to give me unbound items
250$ max
I look at threads and think to myself.....how can people in good conscience spend that kind of money on an virtual item that....well lets be honest. Is a mediocre improvement from what you can use. Skill over Gear all day.
No offense to anyone, But based on financial situation seems to me that the people who spend this money are pretty irresponsible with there money. I don't hurt for money. I am buying a house, 2 cars, and still easily pay my bills. Now these people who spend this money ether are wealthy or must not have the kind of financial responsibilities as most. I do not know and I am not downing people. Regarding my situation it seems rather crazy to spend that kind of money on a item in game.
I swear Restosexual has made over 50 name changes.

Did you read my post? The financial situation-thingy was just one factor.
Yes I read your post.....and to be honest the financial situation was the only part that mattered. A virtual item isnt a investment its a gamble. To think that you can make money off items of a game that has had this long of a run seems way to risky to me. The game is slowly dieing and the value of the game is diminishing. To think that a item that people pay 250$ for now would spend 600$ in two years is a big gamble and really comes back to my point that you ether have to have no real responsiblities or your wealthy.
For a average joe such as myself spending that kind of money is rather crazy for a item that could be a investment. But playing market value and the matter that the player base of game is decreasing. The item in the future will not be worth much of anything in 2 years. I could be wrong and I hope I am for people's sake that try and make money off the game in such a manner (which is technically against the tos of wow)
Depending on your financial situation, dedication for WoW, etc, 200-250 USD for an extremely rare and BiS item isn't that insane. Hell, I almost spent 120 USD yesterday on the pub!
Some might even consider this an investment; the existing Gloomshrouds are just becoming less and less - buy one now for 250 USD and sell it in two yearsfor 600 USD.
edit: "skill over gear all the way" does one exclude the other?
wtf were you buying!?
but in anycase
2 very good nights out > gloomshroud
i think everyone can agree on that
I apologize for stating my opinion in that manner, I do not see it as a investment but more of a gamble. Everyone is entitled to there opinions and you sir have yours. I do not try to sway you from that. But in my opinion Its crazy to spend that kind of money on a gamble unless you have no responsiblities (still live someone meaning you have nothing you really need to spend money on) or wealthy (to the point where 250$ really isnt much of anything and at that point good for you)I'm sorry, I had no idea you were the one that decided what an investment is. An investment isn't limited to real life. This is just really subjetive nonsense you have made up by yourself.
Wow is dying, not saying in 2 years 10 million players will no longer be playing just stating that the game has come very far and has lasted longer than any other game there with such a huge fan base. Everything has a life span and to be honest its only logical to consider the game to be reaching its end. Especially for twinks, They are showing less and less interest in making lower bracket balance and the life of the 19 bracket has come to the point where the new blood coming into it is very rare and every day there is more people quitting than people joining.I think you are very wrong if you don't think the value of that item is going to increase. There is a handful unbound GSs atm, and it's pretty basic knowledge that the fewer GS existing, the more will the remaining ones cost.
WoW is dying? Please tell me more how WoW will seize to be in two years time - will like 10 million players drop off within that time?

This is my last post regarding the matter, Not trying to be offensive or trying to tell someone this is how it is....Just stating my opinion on the matter. If you feel they are great investments then much more power to you and wish you the best of luck.
I have it on my rogue and I don't even play anymore XD
