Make sure you're unlocked before it ends. It will end at 11pm tonight UK time or 12pm Paris

When you log in there should be a number near your characters showing how much you got left.
You can not unlock exp on your own. GM will help you with that.

FWIW on future weekends I found that, despite messages I found anywhere, my free game time started well before the free weekend (Thursday in fact, as I remember) and ended well after (Monday night about midnight).

Had I relied on my message from Blizzard I would have not thought it began until Saturday. In fact I got about 5 days of free game time.

So it's just worth keeping an eye out.

Not sure why u guys liked my post, I was literally wrong. Given free weekend started 11pm Thursday and was specified to 24th, assumed it would end 11pm Sunday UK time. They randomly added about 26 hours to the free weekend, as when I tried to play last night around midnight UK, it was still active. When I logged in before work today for my AGM, it had finally finished.

I never saw anything that said something other than 21st (Thurs) to the 25th (Monday) other than a title slide that was clearly in error.

Also there was still a huge timer in the character selection screen letting you know how long it would last and it always said Monday 23:59.

I didn't get the character selection screen message at all, I actively checked. A weekend is generally interpreted as Saturday Sunday. Why click on an article when the only info you need is the stated dates which were in the title? Bliz error
