How good is this?

Long story short. Loved 49s back in the day, need new twink, have been considering 49 Spriest for awhile. This morning I was farming essence of air on my main in silithus and randomly came across this Glowing Brightwood Staff





How good is this and is it highly sought?

For a non-BoA option, it's BiS for casters to my knowledge. That said, most staff-wielding casters do find a way to get a BoA staff.

It is BIS if you don't have a BOA staff.



With Brilliant Wizard Oil it's almost as good as the BOA.



Like Bwappo stated, always try to get BOA if you can.

I'll slap an enchant on it and toss it in the AH. This won't stop me from rolling that priest though!
