How are there so many f2p with 28 green boes?

I understand it's possible that people had their sub run out right after getting green boes and BiS enchants, etc. But I see so many f2p with damn-near maxed out gear. I genuinely didnt think there'd be vets with this kind of gear so quickly into shadowlands. Maybe I just underestimated people's ability to plan ahead. I'm not even done gearing 1 soon-to-be vet. Let alone having its sub run out.

That's really unfun, when 60% of your abilities will miss against 25lvls.

I'm pretty sure that they have some friends-multiboxers in battlenet: with 4 moonkins at hyperspawn spots u can get these items very easy in 2-3 days on farming (well, actually all u need it's just loot the bodies).

I tried to farm pings in drustvar with random ppl (not multiboxers): not that fast, but that possible to get all what u need by tagging, but unfortunately, i can't get items what i need there.
I also find multiboxer in nazmir, where i can get ALL what i need, but for some reasons, their mobs was grey for me so it was a pain trying to tag atleat one 25lvl mob with 8+ moonkins in one place... But still faster than doing it alone as 20lvl. Much faster.

PS i wish these ilvl28 greens will be nerfed somehow, just bcs i'm so tired of this farm alone

Thats a bad reason to want an item to be nerfed, we(as twinks) signed up for this, so we gotta deal with the consequences of our decisions, and in this case it’s farming your ass off until you get BiS.

Gotta side with him on this one. greens feel fucking lame. and legion was always the ridiculous RNG grind for twinks. More-so than most other xpacs. It just brings back shitty memories to when we had to farm those same spots for 101 boes. And it ruins the variety of sources for BiS when 70% of bis gear comes from those spots, despite having multiple other xpacs available for gear. There's little to no adventure for BiS. Just standing there with some bots or braving the grind on your own.

And trying to farm the exact same item more than once in hopes for it to have a socket and tertiary is mega lame. People shouldn't have to get the same item more than once. But that's just my take

Atm 20lvls can be fine on bg even without ilvl28 green - they have many alternatives in items. But ppl who love min-max have a option too - farming greens. Solo, in party, by AH - doesn't matter.

Until i have another ways to get items for my character and be OK with them on bg - i don't care about this terrible farm because i have alternatives (this is what i'm doing atm: farming other items which not BiS but still good).

But someday i'll get all what i can, and the only one way to improve my character will be ilvl28greens... And this moment makes me sad, bcs the RNG is REAL, but for 20lvl these farm will takes years ... I'll farm it anyway, bcs BiS is BiS, but i don't wanna do it

I bought all of mine on the ah for my vet. Spent some time farming on the f2p but only got piece worth talking about.

Decent luck on a f2p could mean a solid set of 28s by now

At first, no. I was just curious how people had geared vets already. But then I thought about it and now yes. Plus it doesn’t help that I’m on a low pop server with nobody else farming them.
