How are the healing numbers so far?

Hpaly healing isnt the strongest, you will have hard times in arenas, i tho belive that hpala together with 1 or 2 strong healers in bg's would do really good

Not if they are alone, the only heal they have is Flash Heal and its 1.2k

Flash heal, holy shock, word of glory(never use), lay on hands, beacon of light are all healing spells They have an unpurgable shield, increased speed bonus, wear plate, carry a shield, a crit bonus, an instant 8 sec stun with a short CD, can dispel poisons. Paladins are awesome!

Lay on hands can't be used in arena, stun is 6 seconds and dispellable, and just about every healer at 39 has movement speed and dispels

While I don't have a perfect geared Rdruid, I don't think they're particularly good healers at 39 from the numbers I've seen.
Not even including pvp dampening, I was looking at:
130 rejuv ticks
900 swiftmend
80 lifebloom ticks with a proc of 500
Regrowth crits for 1.2k with a seed of 500-600.
Rshams are getting 1900/3k surge hit/crit with earth shield.

Practically all CCs can be dispelled. The fact is he said it had one heal. I named more and then went on to name more strong points that a paladin has. It is the only healer that can dispel poisons that carries a shield.
Each healer depends on your playstyle. If you are an "in your face" healer, as I am, you better have the armor and the defensive capabilities of a paladin or a shaman. Or if you prefer to stay at range or on defense you may do fine with a druid, priest or mistwalker. Either style is fine. I just prefer the former, even when I play my MW. And I have paid the price. Kek...
Being a healer is not just about healing. You have to dispel as well. Mistwalkers can tiger's lust allies at crucial moments. Shaman purging and shearing. Etcetera...

While it is true that Holy Paladins are not the powerhouse healers they have been in the past. If you gear, enchant and play them correctly they can still be quite effective. No, they won't top the healing charts. Will you have fun playing one? Yes... If you like playing Paladins. If you don't like playing Paladins and prefer to always roll the strongest class or are one of the "FotM" rerollers, then a Holy Paladin may not be for you right now.
