US How are 39s?

Hey old friends, just re-subbed after being out about 4 months. Haven't gotten into any Legion stuff yet and haven't even bought the expansion. How's the current state of 39s? Do games pop, does anyone I know still queue up for games?
 
well games pop cuz exp on and off is merge but ques can do like 7-15 minutes im trying to get 39s or 49s back up and running just need poeple to start queing

What's best in the bracket? What server/faction would you suggest rolling on? What does the bracket need? Healers I assume?
 
39 can be a lot of fun. Some classes have most of their toolkit available too them at this point, while still having the "twink" feeling to it. As for activity, I can't really speak for US. On EU, there's nearly no 39 twinks. At least actively queuing.

When it comes to 39s, activity from other twinks shouldn't stop you from making one. There isn't much of a difference between you and levelers at this point, since almost everyone has all their slots filled out at this point, resulting in a fully active PvP template.
This makes for some interesting games from time to time.

Yep I've already gone ahead and leveled my Surv hunter to 39. I figure since exp on/off have been consolidated the queue times can't be any worse than 29's. But I've also acquired Murder of Crows so I'm a little concerned that Surv will still be tier 0. I wonder if other players would consider playing more 39's considering the state of the 29 meta. Hell maybe even 49's?

The further u go up the brackets, the longer the queues. People are simply adjusted to spam questing and doing dungeons at those levels. At least this is my experience. But yes, survival hunters are still very strong in the 39 bracket. I heard survival starts to fall off at 49 and above, but not too sure, since I don't really play anything above 39. I haven't touched my 60 and 70 in a looooooooong time.

59 sounds kind of lame, 69's maaaaybbeeee. Anything higher than those seems like a major chore to level.
 
It is more like the other classes starts to catch up with SVs in the 49s bracket. While 49s are somewhat balanced there are some classes that outpace others. In my exp with 39s and 49s I'd say 39s are more balanced then 49s.
 
Thats good to hear.
Just resubbed hoping for some 39s action.
Kind of disappointed most of the quirkiness is gone, but hopefully this controlled environment will make for better games.
