Hey all! Just starting out and I've been doing a lot of research since recently getting faced rolled on occasion running an arcane mage 01-46. I realized that this was more than a communicated and coordinated effort via pre-made groups. What I didn't know was that even if you turn XPOFF, you're still entering a BG with others who may not have turned off XP. After I started looking at some of the gear these people were wearing, I thought why would you work so hard for only a couple hours of fun before you level out of the bracket. So I shut off my XP and to my surprise, the queue time was the same and I entered battle with a bunch of regular players! It used to be you only entered with other XPOFF players and queues were ridiculous. So I said, well I'm freakin' doing that!
Sorry to sound naive like I've been under a rock or something, but I took a break for a while from WoW and have only recently returned. Before I took a hiatus, I used to just roll a toon, run 10-19's, hit 20, delete, rinse and repeat. I have always loved the low level BG's and have been interested in twinking, but never wanted to wait on the long queues I heard about. I have a 43 Horde arms warrior and a 46 Horde arcane mage that are very fun to play in this bracket. been thinking about locking them down at 49 and grinding out the gear I need for them. I saw this thread and figured I'd make an introduction, join the discord and get crackin'
Just a few question if I may?
When did Blizzard change the XPOFF queuing?
Realistically how lengthy is the gear grind for Warrior/Mage?
Does Horde run this bracket daily/weekly?
Would this be a fun bracket to run for a first time twinker? I would do 10-19's, but don't want to really run with those on starter accounts, as it does not seem like it would be a good challenge. I've read that 30-39 is also a good time.
Anyway sorry for the lengthy post, but thought you should get a feel of where I'm coming from.
Thanks for reading,
Veeble
