It has come to my attention that despite the generous buffs Blizzard has provided this most recent patch, balance remains to be a primary concern in our fair bracket. To address this, I have isolated the biggest concerns we currently face and have come up with some useful changes. I hope you like them.
Healing:
-Hard-casts are overrated, so I suggest that whenever a healer uses an instant cast such as, holy shock, rejuvenate, or renew, they get a buff that reduces the cast time and mana cost of their next five otherwise hard-cast spells - this stacks 3 times. Sounds fair?
-I think healing is waay too underpowered. In fact, Blizzard should just make it so every healing ability one-shot heals. This way they can avoid confusing players with large numbers and simply put in the tooltip: One-shot heals an ally.
-Since power word shield can be dispelled, I think it'd be fair to make it absorb 500% of the players health, this way they don't have to bother with petty annoyances such as taking damage or dying, unless of course the shield is dispelled (OP!).
Classes:
-Alright, so my newborn brother just made it home today. I carried him over to my computer and tried to get him to play my prot paladin. This is where it gets weird HE COULDN'T PLAY IT! I mean seriously, a class created for babies, and a baby can't even understand it? My point being, paladins are way too hard to play and should be made easier.
-Priests' damage sucks. To address this, I'm thinking devouring plague should add a debuff called, "you're gonna die". If the debuff is not dispelled, the target dies, and the spriest gets all their shadow orbs back. I think this would solve the damage problem with spriests.
-Rejuvenate is the worst heal in the game. I think to make it less annoying to use and better for the class overall, it should not be on the global cooldown and have its mana cost reduced; this is because boomkins oom all the time.
Damage:
-We all know damage is lacking in this bracket, with the exception of some classes (arms warrior/enh shamans). So to fix this, I propose we nerf warriors and enh and buff every other class; I'm thinking a 400% damage increase sounds fair. Maybe a bit more for the underdogs of the bracket: prot paladins, spriest, and boomkins; maybe they should get a 500% buff?
-As I said before: hard-casts are overrated (amirite?). So to fix this, make all druid hard-casts and mind blast have a ripple effect (like the Dk death grip implement at 90). Every time you cast one of those abilities, you can cast them again, but instantly.
Some other random changes:
Nerf warlocks since health stone healing is OP.
Allow casters to be able to cast spells on mounts (but not warlocks).
Ect...
And yeah, that's about it for now. Give me your thoughts on this, I'm really confident that some of these changes might actually make it into 5.3, I'm crossing my fingers and hoping for the best.
