Herald of the Titants in 6.0.2?

Hey folks
A couple of mates and I have talked about doing Herald at 80, and was wondering how hard it is in 6.0.2?
I did in at some point back in Cata, where it was pretty damn easy, but I could imagine it being a bit harder after 6.0.2.
They are both making Paladins, and I am yet to decide what to play.
One of them is talking about going Prot, while the other Ret. My concern is a lack of healing is gonna make it quite difficult to 3man.

We are mainly doing it for the fun, as 2 of us already got the title, so we are going to try as 3man at first.

I have a couple of questions, asI've been out of the bracket for quite a while, and have no insight about it post-patch:

What classes are doing good at 80 these days?
What class do you imagine would be a good addition to 2xPaladin? (Can play most specs pretty decent)
Do you even think it is possible to 3man this time around?

We used to do it on our 80's back in pandaria, really easy if you know the tactics and got the gear.

should still be easy :)
 
Ive not tried it, but at lvl 70 the raids are still the same, so im guessing it's the same for 80 raids :)
 
To better account for the changes to player health and ability scaling, we've reduced the health and damage of nearly all non-player creatures and NPCs on a level-by-level basis (larger reductions for lower-level creatures, in general).

Algalon the Observer's melee damage has been reduced by 40%.

Shouldn't be too hard, not sure about 3 man though.
 
Did this today, it took our group 3 hours haha. Top dps were doing 4-5k dps and damage on the tanks is very sketchy. I was told this was a joke before 6.0, but it's a little more challenging now. People need to have gear, flasks, food, gems, enchants, the whole works if you plan on pugging it. If you do it will all people you know who are competent it shouldnt be much of an issue. Would not recommend doing it with less than 8 people. Good luck!
 
Holy healing is better to start. Observer had his phys dmg nerfed by 40% last tuesday, but I hear the overall dmg on tanks is still sketchy without at least moderately skilled healers. Idk about 3 manning, I'm not sure its possible anymore, but I'm gearing my own healer in case y'all want to do this in the next few weeks or so on. I main a US top 500 fury warrior, in a West top 1000 guild if you need proof of skill or whatnot, I also cleared Uld in Wotlk and was Realm second to kill A25. I have a mate who would be running with me, and we will both be gearing in the next 2 weeks.

Since stat squish and gearing changes, ill also be re-compliling/modifying the old BiS gearing list for classes/specs.

When I did it with a few friends the tank damage was high, we were mainly geared from a run in naxx / possibly a few other raids, so nothing too good, but had to go farm some items for the tank so he wouldn't get 1shot, just do the the icc normal dungeons, FoS, PoS & HoR

Tank damage seemed to be high for sure on undergeared tanks.

Threebuttons @ Darkspear - Community - World of Warcraft

I got up to 74.5K hp fully buffed and because of that with resolve I was getting up to 11k sacred shield absorbs. It was pretty simple to keep me up since I had so much hp, healers had plenty of time to react to heal me.

I have run it 4 times in the past few weeks leading alts of my guilds raiding core through each time while taking only an hour or two.

If you are interested in joining a group I still have one run left to plan for a few straggling friends of mine. Times are pretty flexible so if your interested just hit me with a PM
