Hemo vs daggers @ 69

Hey all,



Iv been away from wow for about a year, I know... WTF brought me back. Long story short, I was a 19 twink for two years, and a 49 for about 1.5... I started to move up to 69 and got to 66 and quit. I got bored waiting for star wars...

Anyways, I used to play 70 arena and hemo was great, is it still good?



My main gear concern is idk what to pick for a MH the dagger or the fist weapon... I'm a better hemo rogue, at 49 it's redonkulous. But I'm really lost in patches and rogue nerfs since naxx was end game.



Seems like it's like 50/50 daggers and hemo rogues I see in fourms, is it prefrence? I can't tell but daggers seems to splode cloth, but from what I read DKs and tehRet are king at 69... Amirite? Hemo would seem the best case daggers won't bring them down after your burst.



Anyway if I get the fist what OH is best, and if I go daggers which OH do you recomend?

first of all, 69 exp-off BG's probably wont pop anymore. but lets just assume that blizzard will fix it and you will be able to play them(in the future)



let's compare these 2 items first

1.8 speed, the slowest you can get at 69, do a simple search, there are green 1.8 daggers, but with 7 less dps, or 12 less dmg range, which will be multiplied by dagger ability modifiers.



on the other hand



[item]Borean Smasher[/item]



2.8 speed, which isn't as good as [item]Edge of the Tuskarr[/item]



dmg range wise, the green axe is only 9 less dmg range! but the 2.9 speed makes up for that (better proc chance)



so you should pick the dagger.



now about spec, since you can only spend 60 talent points, meaning, if you decide to get any 41 talent point in one tree, you are left with only 19 points, with witch you can't get any other tree's 21 point talent.



so what you might wanna do is, get a 51 talent point, in this case, i think shadow dance is the best choice for pvp at this moment. or, you can get a balanced talent build, for example something with 31 points in one tree and 21 in the other, it's all down to personal choice really.

I see that there is xp in bgs now, does the 69 twink bracket have forrrrrrever ques? Since you have to go into a non xp bgs... Am I correct on this?

yes if you go hemo, 2.9 speed axe MH, [item]Ice-Rimed Dagger[/item] offhand.



sub tree is still best for PVP, mutilate at 69 doesn't offer any survivability, it's a big no no.

69 bracket is dead as far as xp off.



You can either go with Borean Smasher and go The World of Warcraft Armory ish



or go with Fang and go



The World of Warcraft Armory ish



Ice Rimmed Dagger is the off hand you want for both builds.
