Yes then take the rocket shirt from a guy there then talk to another to start the event. I also suggest going on youtube for soloing tacts if you never done this.

its back now and im on it... did it reset? this is why i dont like pve.....zzz

found a way onto their ship....that boss hp goes down slow... i got wiped finally lol

Yep. you may want to read a guide on doing it. It's the hardest bit to solo. You'll probably wipe a few times, but it is doable.
Maybe someone knows an easy way. I just keep trying till I get lucky (The same way I lost my virginity).

You're not supposed to kill the boss, you're supposed to kill the mage who freezes the cannons.
You have to swap between killing the mage on the enemy ship, clearing the mobs that spawn on your ship, and using the cannons to blow up their ship.
Fairly difficult as far as solo fights go, but definitely do-able.

Ignore the boss.
Kill the adds on your ship first. If there is no one aboard your ship to aggro them they cast burning pitch, which will wipe your ship pretty quick.
When your cannons freeze jump over, kill the battle mage, jump back, get back in the cannon and spam 1111111111111111-2.111111111111-2.
Basically, stay in the cannon unless it's froze or adds are on your ship. Add>unfreeze cannon.

Have you read the comments? It's all soloable. The only problematic ones are dreamwalker and lootship, and that's only because of mechanics.
I think you just wanted to let us know you did it on an 85 tho...
