Help with STV Fishing Tournament

ya I read that sticky and it said nothing about soloing it, just the paths to take etc

don't lie.. you did not read it or you would have seen this...

These pools spawn up and down the coast of Stranglethorn Vale. Refer to the map below. Yojamba Isle is a popular spot for fishing and offers a decent amount of pools. The great thing about this island is that there are no mobs to aggro you. The drawback is that it’s usually crowded and sometimes not worth the time. My favorite place to fish with or without an escort is the highlighted pink path. This area has mobs that will aggro, but they won’t follow you in the water. The Raptors and Basilisks stop at the water’s edge. A little secret about this path is “my pool”. This pool, near the “G” in Gurubashi on the map, has given me better than 40% of my rares.

Theres also that one Troll island with no hostile NPCs at all, Im forgetting the name atm though.

you'll only get a few stacks of fish from those pools tho. If you intend to have any real chance if catching a rare you want to go to the eastern shore.



Depending on your competition you can get as many as 200 fish if you're quick about it.

I've tried 2 years on my nelf rogue twink and never got it... Every contest I get up around 200+ tasty but never got a rare, only rares i got were boots and enough line to make my own fishing pole in the game.



Please, don't complain, it takes patience....
