Help me with my Rogue

Ok, so I was just messing around on Chardev trying to come up with the best rogue possible and this is what I ended up with. Please tell me if you see something that could be improved.

Once I get a complete build that I'm happy with, I'll be able to finish my rogue in the actual game.

That's a nice build. Would replace AB with a Theif's Blade or WSG Dagger in your offhand.



Also, if you don't already have a Shadowfang. Good luck, getting that the fishing hat and the AGM will take you some time. Might want to go with the green tinted goggles til then.
 
Your alliance so Tunic of the Westfall for sure. Also I would drop sentry cloak for the spidersilk hit cloak and get it enchanted with agil. Still get an AB, but enchant /w +5 weapon damage for ambushes. Since you have BoA access get a Thrash Blade for OH instead. If you are going to Pug mostly, then your enchants IMO are spot on, but if you are rolling in premades consider dual Firey. Spec looks fine. Good luck, it's a long road ahead to get all that gear.
 
Thats perfect accept cruel barb off hand, if you cant get shadowfang. The BoA bow to swap out, and only use piencers when throwing, get a macro for that. Tunic of westfall > defias. And spidersilk drape. You will be hit capped with those and around 35%-40% dodge.

not saying your never gona get the hat/agm/BoE shadowfang but..



but if you dont have multitude of 80s on all the time to help you get trinket it could take months.. of not sleeping. i vowed to never get it again, then they buffed it with the stam but still NEVER AGAIN!!



also every sunday for fishing, it could take 10, 20, 30 tries



worst of all, the amount of time for those two items you could make higher level twinks that are alot more fun to play, or at least make a hunter since you will be so pissed you made a rogue and not a hunter for lv 19.



i wish i could have gotten this advice and listened to it lolol

Well I already have the trinket and I've gotten the hat on 2 other twinks, so it shouldn't be too difficult. The shadowfang is the only thing that will take a while.
 
If your going to be PUGing then your should probably rock with firey enchant imo Lifestealing on a rogue isnt that good.
 
The biggest thing I would suggest was already suggested but I'll say it again. Use the AB for ambushes with +5 weapon damage. Then get a different off hand to switch to.



Never made a rogue but that's the general consensus on what's best.
 
Another option for your offhand is the Battleworn Thrash Blade. The proc is really good and most of the times it will give a extra attack on the main hand. It has a 5% proc chance and it seems to have no internal cooldown. As I once had it proc twice with about 5sec apart.



What I did notice is that chardev.org does not seem to calculate any dps for both the shadowfang proc the extra shadowdamage and the proc on the thrash blade so the dps values you see are far from correct.
