Help me with my 19 paladin! (heal/FC)

Got a few questions regarding my pala twink! Doing kind of a budget build, using eagle gloves instead of Thorbias, etc.

What 2hander to use? Im leaning between Taskmaster axe or Glacial Stone atm. I like the stamina alot, and the quick speed is good for Seal (bad for crusader=

What weapon enchants? Got a Skeletal Club and Arctic buckler atm, Im thinking about Crusader on 2h and Lifestealing on 1h?

How good is Thorium Shield spike? it works on 19 right?

Anything else I should think about? Currently level 10, got most of my gear ready except quest rewards.

Glacial Stone defs better than Taskmaster- its all about the DPS, and especially damage per hit.

I guess if you are going budget Skeletal Club is ok rather than Shadowfang- for now. I preferred lifestealing on both, as it has a much higher proc rate... however, I know others preferred crusader, so to each their own i guess. The added strength does improve block rate, so it can be nice to have the crusader on the 1-hander with that thought in mind.

For shield, you would generally want Redbeard's Crest I think. But again, for budget Arctic Buckler is ok. but if you are gonna go FC/heals, you probs want +7stam on the shield... Pretty sure Thorium Spike does not work on 19 if i remember right, and it is only really good against rogues when you are facing front to front... which you won't be as much if you are FCing.

Spike functions normally. Best in melee situations when you're not carrying a flag. Glacial stone is the BiS 2h, but honestly you'll hardly ever swap from SF to GS.

No reason to not go 2hander when the situation allows it right? Bursting down EFC for example. I guess I will go Lifestealing on all my weapons.

I seriously wonder how much more damage Glacial stone does. If a Rogue dodges your Glacial stone you just spent 8 seconds doing 0 damage :p

2h has higher dps for sure, but in most situations you'll face melee + caster dps in which case I'd advise to stick to sword n board. Unless you're ONLY vs casters or trying to kill the efc yolo, I wouldn't ever go 2h

Yup generally sword and board for pally is best. However, nice to get the Glacial Stone just in case- better to have it and not need it than not have it and wish you did.

Don't use 2-hand when facing off against rogues- always sword and board. I would say though, 2H can be highly effective against most other classes, to get some good burst damage. Sword and board is often better 1v1 just for sustainability, but you are rarely going to have a good 1v1 in a battleground, and a lot of the time you will want to higher dps to get a target down faster.

Ultimately though, pallys are good for their utility more than anything - BoF and stun are so strong, especially if you learn to combine them well while running flag. If you want to be top KBs or damage dealer in a battleground, Pally is not the best choice lol
