Help me pick a shaman race

Making a 19 shaman. Cant decide on the race.

Male Tauren
  • Largest hitbox in the game (good vs hunter/range and bad vs melees)
  • Warstomp
  • +5% hp
Female Tauren
  • Second largest hitbox
  • Best for horde tunnel jumps
  • Warstomp
  • +5% hp
Female Orc
  • Can do ally fence jump and overall decent at wsg jumps
  • Hardiness can help a little against pallies I guess
Female Troll
  • Berserking
  • Best speedrun time for killing hunter pets
  • Not sure about their performance for wsg jumps


Did I forget anything?
 
Any experts able to chime in about Troll jumps on Ally side? Otherwise fem orc seems like the best option for Shaman on offense.
 
Interesting I was under the impression that savory deviate delight changed your hitbox since I saw some hunters talking about fixing their tauren deadzone problems with it.

Rough choice so far but Troll is pretty much out of the equation and male Tauren just a tad worse than females. So gonna be either female tauren or orc

I honeslty have no confirmation about their jumping potential, but their racials arent great (even if Berserking is alright) and as far as I know they cant go through ally fence. I feel that if they could theyd probably be better than orcs

I just tested it and Female trolls cant do the ally fence jump. Also tested Deviate delight just to make sure and it doesnt change your hitbox, still not possible to do the jump with it active.
 
The real question is why do you want to play a Shaman at 19 take it to 39 or 49, you will be a support class and that is it so be prepared for that. Now if you premade then yes go for it but for solo que stay away.

Hell it never fails Alliance /lol my Shaman way to much I'm still confused as to why though.

Im making a shaman cause its my favorite class. I also enjoy which role they fill overall. Im down for a challenge my priest is way too boring
 
Shaman at 19 is a blast. It isn't the best at any single role but is very competent at all. It's also top tier for duels as long as you don't get some unlucky resists.

19 Shaman is also probably the most crucial member of an offense that is trying to kill a paladin FC. Purge spamming so that your hunters/warriors can land slows...
 
Ive never played them in classic but Im sure theyll be fun ;). Just Earthbind, Purge and Earth Shock makes the class super fun for me. Oh and Ill probably be doing female orc if anyone cares
