Hellscream's Warbow vs Item Level 96 GS Ranged Weapon

i have a Question what is better for lvl 20 PvP Twink, the Hellscream's Warbow with 2 Sockets or a level 96 GS ranged Weapon?

look at Rapid Fire and Aimed Shot, they will both likely have a higher dmg when you use BOA bow .. the range of Rapid Fire and Aimed Shot will also be longer due to the mastery stats .. when you need to do a rough calculation of hunter dmg, you can use 2 mastery = 1 agil (just rough estimate)

If you have a level 30+ hunter you can put x-ray scope on the warbow. Also consider Dragonslayer's Shortbow with its heavy stat distribution.

the MOP BOA with 2 gems and a +4 diamond refractor scope is more consistent damage than higher bows with a chance proc enchant

Ok thank you guys for all the information. But i only play 20 pvp so no 30+ for x-ray.

Link for these MM Hunter changes? That doesn't sound very realistic then 20 mm Hunter would be as good as dead.

The ilvl 96 ones that have dropped are usually grandfathered unless blizzard plays a different game like with Brewfest - some of the ivl 84 items on a level 20 from the event became ilvl 96 post prerelease patching and even sometimes proc'd a tertiary.

But I also read that the PTR reverted the nerf'd of Timeforged drops from I think ilvl 63 back to ilvl 96 so it is currently unclear if future Timeforged with be lowered or unchanged.

But one thing is that the WoD Timewalking LFG bags drops were only giving Mists of Pandaria enchanting mats when disenchanted but the green dungeon drops were ilvl 72 and gave the correct WoD mats including the extra ilvl 96 items.

Was on the Blizzard forums and with all the angst that Blizzard may have changed their mind on no pet MM (again).
