Hello! New twink in trouble.

Kuroxan

Legend
Hello, I have been thinking of making a twink because I haven't had one since probly TBC or Vanilla.

Now I finally got myself to make one (Oh I am from EU server Frostmane if there are any others, which I highly doubt tho)

Here is an armory link Nekroosi @ Frostmane - Game Guide - World of Warcraft
So my problem is that should I make my twink lvl 14 or keep him at 10? If someone had time to give some basic facts or pros and cons from each or just an basic opinion? I would be very thanful. :)

Oh and sorry if it is in the wrong section, it is kinda like my introduction thread at the same time.

Thanks for reading and hope to see some EU twinks on the field when my toon is finished!

Pretty good start if you want to fully twink i'd recommend these items:

Slayer's Band - Item - World of Warcraft BiS
Dread Pirate Ring - Item - World of Warcraft BiS or The 1 Ring - Item - World of Warcraft
Voice Amplification Modulator - Item - World of Warcraft Best Neck
Battleworn Thrash Blade - Item - World of Warcraft replace dagger, i believe it is better
Embossed Leather Pants - Item - World of Warcraft add +40 armor kit to it on main b4 sending
Bard's Belt - Item - World of Warcraft of monkey 2agil 1 stam or 1agil 2stam
AGM + Inherited Insignia of the Alliance - Item - World of Warcraft Recommended trinkets.

Other than those items and AGM you look great, I know you didn't ask for gear but I thought I'd be helpful :)

Also stay level 10 as crit/haste/hit stack MUCH better.

I appreciate the advices on the gear and as rogue I keep doubting the level 10 just because I feel like the level 14s can see me from miles away.

Oh and another question: how is the neck any good as rogue at lvl10-14? just wondering.

^ and the stat benefits at lvl10 are far more superior than that at level 14. The only class that is actually worth possibly getting 14 in is priest. As a level 10 rogue the almost 70% crit ( no +7 agility on boots) and using the BoA gun (+1crit) helps so much compared to the crit of a lvl 14. Your hit also stacks much better at lvl10 i believe it was 24-28% in just shadow stained gear.

The crit along with the good hit at lvl10 out performs anything you will get at lvl14.

I dunno, I feel like the two classes that should go 14 are hunters and rogues. Rogues are horrible against spellscasters because they don't have an interrupt, aside from BE with torrent. They get kick at 14, and recuperate at 12. And, my priest does fine at 10. Hunters get a lot more abilities at 14, like aspect of the hawk, disengage, wing clip.

Also, the neck doesn't matter for a rogue...doesn't benefit you in any way. Well Crafted Long Bow - Item - World of Warcraft is greater than BoA gun at 10, too, by the way.

Hmm thats basically what I meant, rogues are good at lvl10 but at the same time it is kinda important for them to be lvl14.. I like the stats of a 10 but I hate that people can see me almost like from midfield especially if they are ranged.

My rogue hits 86% crit, and 77% dodge with 5 hit rating to boots ;) non gf-ed, factioned. GL

Edit: Dont listen to the people saying go 14 imo. Rather go belf and have torrent, you'll pwn. Specially with LB up. Also the stat scalings are way to important for a rogue to let go off..

What Fuzzie says is true about Lifeblood, on my rogue I don't think I could give up my 143% haste rating percent every two minutes. Even tho my Rogue is a Human with Alliance exclusive gear she has 77% Dodge and 90% crit. This is without Gf'd gear, if I were a 14 I'd drop to around 35% Dodge and 41% ish crit. It's more beneficial to stay 10.

Umm, I think that's more an issue of player skill though. You really need to understand the range of sight against who you're fighting, and learn how to exploit that to your advantage. It's not an issue of 14 vs 10, you SHOULD be 10 if you plan to be a rogue. Yes having kick is nice, but your job isn't to interrupt, nor is it to solo fight people. It's to output raw damage. Rogues finish fights, they don't initiate them. Once you get used to who can/cannot see you, then you'll be much better off. Learn to approach from the side or behind, learn to avoid running straight up to anything. Be aware of enemy positioning and how to path between them. That's all you need.

Ehm.. change on plans.. level 11.. had lvl10 hardly without any xp gathered and figured to go get ironman from normal.. ofcourse I forgot.. that it is WSG weekend.. around 9k xp or something and almost dinged me twice. Though luckily only thing I lost mostly is a little bit of dodge since I got 2 Stendel's Wedding Band - Item - World of Warcraft so my critical didn't drop more like than 2% maybe? Still at over 70% dodge so probly not so big loss.. I guess? got atleast an talent point.. lol..

Well anyway, thanks for the opinions and help was much appreciated. Though are there really any games at 10-14 with locked xp? all I can see is unavailable all the time.

You're going to have to be going to 14 now that you're 11, because there is nor eason to stay 11. You lost your scaling the minuite you dinged. As for games, we don't get a lot of games unless they're pre-organized ones.
