so im thinking of making a f2p twink as a back up if i dont wanna keep paying for WoW but im wondering is it possible to get heirlooms on actual f2p accounts cause i see a lot of people with heirlooms and i want to know how

Grinding honor and/or converting honor to JP.

You can get most BOA gear, but it can take a while, and BOA Hats, and Cloaks are unobtainable on Trial Accounts, because you can't join a Guild

To get it, you just need to grind Honor, which will let you either buy the PvP BOA Shoulders/Weapons/Trinket, or you can trade Honor for Justice Points, for the PvE Shoulders/Chests/Weapon/Trinkets at a rate of 375 Honor for 250 Justice. Keep in mind the PvE BOA gear is better than the PvP BoA gear for the 20-24 Bracket, with the exception of the PvP BoA Trinket which will replace your Honor Trinket, unless you're a Human

This isn't right.

It depends on the class and personal preference!

e.g. as a horde disc priest you will always go with the pvp staff. With taking the pve one you are going to gimp yourself trying to hitcap.

e.g. as a horde feral you will prefer the pvp shoulders because there is no crit-pve alternative when already hitcapped.

+ some prefer resilience over crit

So, take a look @ all available heirloom + look @ some armorys => decision

Last: As a caster you will try to get your heirloom weapons in first place. The additional spellpower makes a huge difference to non-heirloom weapons

I rolled a Belf Disc Priest, I'm going to focus on healing more, why would I need +hit?

Uhm, my understanding of a disc priest is healing AND dps!

When i do bg's i'm maybe 1/3 of the time casting damage spells.

e.g. you go for the efc with another dps class. The efc is guarded by dps and heal. You will never get your flag back by only heal your dps partner.
Only chance you have is heal dps'ing. And a disc priest is able to create a lot of burst.

If you're the only healer around you should stay with your fc of course. Even then hitcap is a huge +!

forget hit if you want to be a dedicated healer.

If you rolled a disco for deticated healing; you are doing it wrong. Dealing damage and healing aside is way more effective then just healing as disc.

Getting hit capped is not needed anyway. It is still a % chance that you will miss something but i can recommend to get capped or atleast get near the cap for most effective play (you don't need hit for healing spells btw). Just get several sets for your game-play and switch.
