Yeah, basically topic says it all. I want to know, does the 4 haste and 6 stamina outweigh the loss of 2 agility?

2 agility is almost nothing in fact it probably affects 1 DPS but the 4 haste makes up for that loss of 1 DPS so unfortunately, BOA > Smelting

but what about glasscannon rogues and hunters? i mean hunters hardly have any reason not to be out of melee range, so survival shouldn't be that big of a deal?

Rogues have a hard time grabbing stam without gimping themselves, this is an awesome way to pick up some extra AP without hurting your damage (haste isn't completely useless btw, faster energy regen = easier kicks and gouges).

its 6 stamina and 4 haste for those of us that skipped math in 1st grade.



sure for an absolute glass cannon/max ap set, take the smelting which gives a whopping 2 more agi, 4ap before buffs/talents. in most cases/brackets that 6 stam is better. and 4 haste certainly doesnt hurt dps. since they arent in game yet (unless im way off base) it doesnt even matter....but when they come out they're better than smelting except in the absolute max ap set scenario

not that hunters are never in melee range or being attacked by other ranged classes though

i'm not an expert on rogues, but haste affects energy regeneration correct? in that case, these 4 haste does not only equal more WAPM but indeed also more SAPM, in an offensive FC situation where ToT isn't that big of a deal..

ohh, note, WAPM = White Attacks Per Minute, SPAM = Special Attacks Per Minute.. this is the amount of white and special blows you can slap unto a non-moving target in a minute..
