Ori and the blind forest was absolutely amazing.

Hollow Knight is also really good.

I also gotta love LIMBO and INSIDE from Playdead. This Danish game studio is a true gem, and I'm not saying that as a Dane, I'm saying that as a gamer.

You can try and watch the trailers of the games and see which one(s) seem more appealing and go from there.

Ori and the blind forest also has a sequal called Ori and the will of the wisps. To me, nothing comes close to Ori in terms of visuals and soundtrack. Especially considering how simple of a game it is at its core. Hollow Knight is a really close runner-up.
