I haven't played this bracket since Vanilla (spent most of my time in 39/49/70 since then). I've been lurking around for a couple days (account finally active, huzzah!) and I have most of the basics down but had a couple questions still. Sorry if this is the wrong place, I can move it.
Are battlegroups still a thing? If I play on my home server (Skullcrusher-US) will I get queued with all xp off characters (obviously only US for me) or only those in my battlegroup? I'd like to be able to take the time to properly gear up my character (but still play because I'm impatient as hell!) rather than transfer/roll some where and regret not finishing gear.
How is the horde/alliance distribution? I've heard it's pretty even but just wanted to get this forum's thoughts on it. I don't want to join the overpopulated side.
What classes are strong, but not ridiculously OP and boring (looking at you BM monks)? Right now I'm thinking arms warrior because I have all of the heirlooms for it but I also have all of the leather heirlooms and most of the other ones. Considering a druid because feral is strong and I could also play boomkin/resto if that got dull.
What's the deal with 20 vs. 29? I know starter accounts can only reach 20 but is there any reason to stay 20 rather than go to 29 if you have a real account?
What enchants are available to 29s? I see people with gift/breath of ___ so I know those for rings/neck but I'm not sure what other enchants are "best".
Thanks!
