Haste on a Warlock

Edit: You should probably disregard this since ive just remembered that druid have buffed haste, so this is unlikely to work well for locks. Meh, take a look anyway.

Today i was doing some calculations for babyboomkins to prove to myself that haste is useless for a lvl 19 druid (it is btw, just) and i believe i concluded that haste would be worth it if all i was doing was glyphed MF and root spamming. Since haste favors spells with typically low SP coeffecients and lock dots have SP coeffs of 10-20% pertick i thought it might be worth a look to see what kind of DPS change you would get if haste was substituted for gloves and atleast one trinket.

This also assumes im correct in thinking that dots are now affected by haste.

It would be funny to try on a haste stacked lock if you could still run up 55 haste rating.

I'm gonna bump this because at first I thought it was a silly idea, but if you think about it, this could work pretty well. If you get two of the haste trinkets and 10 haste to gloves that's 22 haste, which I think is 10% haste. So if you were going from GCD to casting a fear you would save .3 sec. And if you already do not have dmg trinkets you wouldn't be losing to much sp from the glove enchant. Not to mention all the other benefits from speed you would get, and the quick decay glyph.

So unless I'm wrong about something it sounds good.

Well this would require 2 trinket slots to be sacrificed, so it would only really work for human (and possibly UD) locks who cba to get agm. It would also require a glyph slot to be taken up. I havent done any maths on it tho, and it would be interesting to see how it turns out. My money is on fail tho.
