didnt see much change... most veterans ive fought have more gear than skill

OK I had to delete about half the posts in this thread because they were personal and way off topic. You guys should know better. Please stay on topic, and, if you have to poke at each other with sharp sticks, please do it in game or in PMs from now on.

Maybe it's just the time of day that I'm qing up (which is pretty random.. anywhere from early morning/mid day/late night), but battleground q's are much worse than they were before, from what I've noticed. Horde used to get insta-pops or only had to wait 2-4 mins for one. I understand there are more battleground options to choose from now, which would definitely change things up, but this drastically? I've q'd up both Horde and Alliance around the same time and they both always drag out to 10-15 min+, with Alliance being longer.

Somebody told me that they "fixed" whatever was bugging the q's, but did they really? For example, I've q'd up both WsG and EotS. WsG typically will always pop first because obviously it's less people to fill (although I have had EotS pop first), which in turn pauses the EotS q. After a short WsG, I leave the battleground. After load screen it still tells me that I'm q'd for EotS, and I've even been under the estimated time.. but then I end up sitting in q well after the estimated time, and the sucker never pops... To me it appears that you can't q for more than bg. After the first one pops, it pretty much cancels the other out, even if it says you're still in q.
Is this just me? #aloneinthisworld

Over all though, I'd say the change has been positive. Numbers from dmg and healing actually make sense now. When you give or take a few Int/Agil, you notice a difference. The new character models are a little sketchy.. but at least we have heirloom helms to cover the ugly, right?

Well i've had 3 AV's from random bg's all within 10 minutes of queueing over the past few days, as well as all the other bg's. I did notice last night though i was in queue for 15 minutes and still no pop (this is after 3am server time). I hope that's just a temprorary thing, and queue times become quicker. Overall though i am getting games a hell of a lot quicker than the past months.

I guess it kind of depends when you are queing.

For example if 40 people just got into an AV game + Other BGs still going and you just now que up; you probably will notice a longer wait time.

For me personally, I only que AV and arena. I know that after an AV match is over; it's very common to get back-to-back AV que pops for several hours. This last weekend that happened to me 3 days in a row haha. Was great

I just reactivated my account to work on a new veteran 20 feral after 5 month wow break. I get to play feral (was a such gimped spec back in the days but as so many tools and horsepower today that it makes the experience excellent), fully twinked and my favorite BG (AV) with short queues. Real HK party!

Couldn't be happier.

The queue bug actually came in separately than 6.1. That alone increased my enjoyment of the game exponentially. Moving to 19s has also helped a lot.
