Has Patch 6.1 made you enjoy this game more?

Regardless of how you feel about enchants on veteran characters, guild heirlooms, or whatever... Are you enjoying this game more now than the patch before 6.1?

For me, this patch has revived this bracket.
We actually have relatively short queues now! We can actually play the game!

The fact that we can now get battleground games faster, and not just arena's, makes me think this patch has done wonders for the bracket. It also negates most old complaints about faction gear differences like eye patches.

Interaface > Accessibility > Colorblind filter > 3.Tritanopia > Strength 100%

This has to be the most interesting change done to the game since the Warlords release.
 
kind of an odd question to ask us seeing how we get heirloom tab and model this update. blizz is giving a lot to us this time around compared to some of the older expansions *cough* 5.4 *cough*. but ya, i find it still fun. the more competition the better i say.

There's been a bit of unhappiness with certain things from some people, so I want to gauge how everyone feels overall.

I agree that we have been given a lot this patch, and for Blizzard, they have been very generous.

Queue times as always are by far the most important consideration for me, and since they're working again (5 to 10 min or less, sometimes instant queue), well, I'm playing in the bracket again.
 
Personally can't say that I've played this patch quite yet. Seeing the reviews, I'm thinking of joining back for the time being seeing as the queues from what I heard is back to short. Definitely going to be giving it a try.
 
Should mention that bgs are pretty unbalanced with a fair amount of 29 twinks.

Hadnt really thought much about it until now but I guess anybody who had a 29 twink before must be orgasmin.. Their bracket is revived to be the most active twink bracket and they are default cream of the crop.

Edit: Oh and classes are unbalanced as usual.
 
Yes I am happy we can now get games, but of course I am not that happy with class balance. Some classes just don't get what they need until level 24 or above, and I want to enjoy those lesser classes (like enhance shaman and mage) but I don't want to go 29. It's still better than no games, but my mage and shaman really just feel like wet noodles and that will always make me sad.

Or it will make me go veteran for those classes and get max enchants to make them viable.

I agree with this 100%. I still have really mixed feelings on how I feel about this patch, hence why I haven't voted. I was really looking forward to playing my mage because I'd finally get the boa staff but I really can't do anything as fire or frost. And I already made a thread whining about holy paladin, so that's a bit of a bust.

But hey, atleast the bracket has more activity. I just need to find something that's at least somewhat viable that I enjoy playing though.
 
Well I was just in an amazing game of AV. Considering that balance has been an issue since the beginning of F2P, I think you have to be objective and say things are pretty good right now.
 
Healers are OP and doing more dmg then dps's
ferals got buffed
DKs are gone
29s are so OP they can change game result alone, u need shitload of dps's to kill healer especially if they are 29
monks still OP
unbalanced classes, lot less CC.


other then that im enjoying the patch :)
