Happy Thanksgiving!

reflexes always tries hard, always constantly fail trolls. was just pointing out the obvious

Not really, I suppose twisting the history of a horrible event is a bit different than blatantly celebrating one. But they both stem from ignorance, so my point stands firm.

while i do understand some of where your coming from, the fact is it has become a day to celebrate what we are thankful for, like family and what not, taking things with a grain of salt is one thing, but if the celebration of those types of values seem like ignorance to you i would very much suggest reevaluating certain views, im sorry you have nothing to be thankful for.

When you really get down to it, society doesn't have a reason to be thankful. We're doing pretty horrible as a species. Even using your logic, you shouldn't need an invisible measurement of time to tell you to wish the ones around you well. That's just an asinine, selfish, and outdated ideology.

^^^

I don't see why you need a day to celebrate or be thankful for "family etc" honestly, you have an entire year to reach out to them and you take one or two days. Sounds like I'm not the one who has to reevaluate my views. I may be cynical, and even crude at times. But what I speak is truth!

except the first thanksgiving wasnt total genocide, that stuff followed later

whereas thats all the holocaust was. so even comparing them is flawed

but then again, you just think youre trolling

The actual event was a plot to gain their trust, so the day itself is sinister in its own respect. Twisting horrible events and blatantly celebrating one are a bit different, but not its not even a tiny stretch to compare them.

Disregard my statements all you want, you're wrong. Falkor still mad about the other threads. I've always wondered what it was like to be lost, fill me in falky

Reflexes go away and be happy!

haha you talk like you were there. why does gaining trust have to be a ploy, perhaps they just wanted to be friendly. its not like the first wave of puritans were warmongers, they just wanted their own place to be strict religious bitches like calvin n geneva

it was other eus coming over looking for land and just general bloodthirst that caused the rest

so again, totally unlike the holocaust

but again, this is just your attempt to troll and you think youre winning something by having me post.....when in fact youre not. i know youre still butthurt about the other threads =]

Edit:It's fine I guess. I don't judge anyone for celebrating the holiday, you're all entitled to your beliefs. Just don't be angry at the people who legitimately celebrate the holocaust next time you see it. Or else you're just silly ^.^

i used to be cynical about it, then i saw the aesthetic value

It was a ploy, that's why I don't allow myself to argue with most products of Americas public school system. To them, slaughtering an entire race wasn't bloodthirst. They were Godless savages. Totally comparable to the holocaust! You people may not like to hear it, but its true. Sorry :/
