In case anyone is interested I create this post to gather information about this years Hallows End Festival.

Just listing some observations:

We get the epic Loot-Filled Pumpkin
-Contains 1 Piece for the Ensemble: Patched Harvest Golem (Recolor from the Trading Post Set)
-As far as I have seen it is guaranteed one piece per pumpkin. I got the whole set after running 7 alts.
-The gear is lvl56 for 10s; lvl60 for 11s and lvl 96 for 20s
-It can upgrade. Helmet dropped with a Socket on my lvl 11 druid
-The Scarlet Key can drop to unlock Vanilla Scarlet Monastery. (dropped on my lvl 11)

Headless Horseman
-Loot-Ilvl is the same as Pumpkin
-It can upgrade, had two rings drop (lvl 11) with a socket so far

New rewards for Tricky Treats
-Backtransmog Patched Harvest Golem's Post
-Fistweapon-Transmog Patched Harvester's Claws
-Head Transmog Ensemble: Prowler's Faded Headgear
-Shoulder Transmog: Prowler's Faded Shouldercape

After a couple runs I got an ilvl 96 ring with a socket.
The only difference between the two ilvls is 1 stam & 2 secondary stats.
From the Boss, or the pumpkin?
(edit) nvm, I got a ring from the boss, I ken the gig.

The Scarlet Key drops from Loot-Filled Pumpkin.
F2P can unlock and run Vanilla Scarlet Monastery.
oh thx for the reminder, i forgot about that last year. But looks like it's only useful for old mogs? was just dropping standard dungeon ilvl gear (ilvl 30) for my lvl 11. I saw some old comments about it dropping higher, but apparently not anymore.

Socketed horseman rings are easy to farm too because you can just chain-run the boss on a healer or a tank. The bucket with the treats and transmog only drops once a day, but you can loot the boss as many times as you can click queue.

My brother got two socketed rings in 18 drops (he won’t drop a ring every run), and I’ve got one socketed ring in seven drops.

The rings are unique-equipped, but there are multiple rings the boss can drop for each class.

Q isnt too long for dps too

I didn't realize that you could bump up against the instance limit while queuing for the headless horseman.

Up to 18 rings for my 20 druid; 3 upgrades, only one socketed, two have +4 avoidance.
I'm at 5 rings on my 20 mage; zero upgrades. Anecdotally, it feels like they're dropping less often, but it could be just that I need a break from chain-running this boss.

Story: so, on my druid, I queue for all three roles. Usually I get healer, but sometimes I get tank. The instance doesn't switch my spec automatically like some do, but I've found it can be tanked just fine in resto.

Anyways, I queue into this horseman as a healer, and it's clear that the group already wiped. On the headless horseman. Oof. Anyways, we start the fight, and the entire group is standing in everything and has hard mode on. I have to heal non-stop instead of cat-forming it up, but eventually the fire on the floor happens and no amount of healing can keep the group alive.

So that's when I found out that the headless horseman is an easy solo for a resto druid.
