Hey guys!

A few of us old 19/39/49 players have come back together for Guild Wars 2, mainly focusing on Tournaments (Structured PVP) and World vs World and figured it'd be really awesome to link up with some of the old guys we used to play with and against!

My memory is really bad (ask Mopchild) so if you wanna come join us for some 5 vs 5 and that just hit me up with a pm or here letting me know who you are etc. Were not mega elitist like back when we were 16 years old :p We just wanna have fun etc, still take pvp seriously though when we can :>

It's P2P, one time payment then it's free after, no subs. There are plenty of media outlets and sites etc that will do a far better job of reviewing the game than me, but take my word, its a lot of fun :p The PVP is a great balance between moba like strats and WoW like mechanics. And with weekly/monthly and yearly tournaments starting up soon (with spectator mode too I may add!) it's going to get a lot better :p
 
Current game modes are node defence (like AB/Gilneas) but 2/3 maps have NPC bosses that reward points too. Hard to compare it to either arena or rated bg's as it has both elements in it. imo it requires better teamplay and synergy than rated bgs due to the NPCs and the way classes can interact with each other , its not as mechanic heavy as arenas as each class has access to around 20-25 abilities whilst in combat, but its much more fluid than wow with the ability to cast p much 95% of spells whilst on the move :p

And ye i'm tired of live action trailers :p Costs a lot to pump out 3 minute CGI trailers I guess :p
 
Yea I've heard good things about GW2, have had bad exp. though with ncsoft in the past, they don't seem to make games for outside east asia (very grindy) at least that's what I've seen with Aion. May check out GW2 in a couple months if people are still playing, there was a lot of hype around TOR, so would hate to get burned.
